I have a black side by side Whirlpool Gold Conquest Refrigerator. Yesterday morning it was fine, yesterday late afternoon I opened it and the light is flickering and the temperature display is not working and it is making an obnoxious noise when the door is open. If you touch the door close button it goes off. The freezer side is still lit and no noise when that door is open.

I need to confirm your model number. Is it as listed GD2SHAXLQ Reason is there where many different designs. You are saying that the temperature logic at dispenser control has gone out of control and flickering?
