Many thanks. For F21 fault everyone was talking about the drain valve but found one answer related to power supply n board this helped. Resetting by turning program switch to 12 o clock then turn to 6 o click then keep spin button pressed n move knob to 7 o clock position. Then release spin n move knob to 12 o clock. This way F21 got resetted.

F21 error means that the drain time has exceeded 8
minutes; this will turn off the water valves. Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to
clear the display. If errors still remains then please check the drain hose and
make sure it is not plugged or kinked. Disassemble the washer by removing the
back from the washer and check the electrical connections at the pump and make
sure the pump is draining. Also inspect the pump filter for foreign objects.
Before disassembling remember to turn off the power and disconnect the washer.
If it still doesn't help then there is an issue with the pump and you'll need
to replace it. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more

my washing machine was working when it suddenly stopped, unable to finish the load, giving an f21 code. could this still be drain error? i check the drain hose, and there doesn't seem to be any problem with it. do you think it needs pump replacement? where do i find it?

F21 relates to a motor or control board fault.
However, it is also caused by spikes in the mains and can be spurious.
To reset it.
Turn the appliance knob to the off or reset position, 12 o'clock.
Turn the knob to the 6 o'clock position.
Press and hold the spin button.
Whilst holding it, turn the knob to the 7 o'clock position.
Continue holding the spin button for about 5 seconds.
Release the button.
Turn the knob to off.
When your turn it back on it should have cleared the error code.

Possible Causes/Procedure
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or

5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. If the above does not correct the problem, go to step 7.

The F21 error on this line of washers is themachines way of saying the water took to long to drain from the tub.This could be a problem with one of the washer partsincluding the drain pump itself, how the drain hose enters the standpipe, or maybe even something is stuck somewhere in the drain systemand is preventing the water from flowing properly. Not quite anemergency, but it is an indication of a problem and a problem that canlead to something bigger if not looked into.
In talking withthe customer, I found out the last load before all this started toindicate a problem was a rug from the house. Rugs can be troublesome towas as many of them used in laundry and bath rooms have rubber backingsthat can come loose when washed. When the backing comes loose, it canfind it's way into the drain system and cause a problem, or the rugfibers can come loose and do the same thing. Figuring this was theproblem, I explained to the customer how to get access to the drainpump by removing the three screws that hold the lower access panel inplace. Here you will find the pump and the all important sump cleanout, or as we like to call it, the coin catcher. Inside she found manyfibers from the rub along with a few other things that found there wayout of her kids pants pockets.
With the sump cleaned out, Iasked her to try another load then to give me a call and let me knowhow everything worked out. A phone call a couple hours later told methe problem had been solved, and now this customer knows a bit moreabout her washer.
Many of the front load washers on the markethave a user accessible clean out for just such an occurrence. Just beaware that if you open it up, any water that is still inside the tubwill quickly be in your lap, so plan accordingly.
