To adjust the display lines justification on an Aastra M5316 phone, you can follow these steps:
Press the "Menu" key on the phone.
Use the arrow keys to scroll to the "Contrast" option and press the "Select" key.
Use the arrow keys to adjust the contrast of the display until the lines are fully visible.
Press the "Next" key to scroll to the "Line Justify" option and press the "Select" key.
Use the arrow keys to adjust the line justification until the lines are properly centered on the display.
Press the "Save" key to save your changes and exit the menu.
If you continue to have issues with the display lines justification on your Aastra M5316 phone, you may want to try resetting the phone to its default settings. To do this, press the "Options" key on the phone, then scroll to "Reset Phone" and press the "Select" key. Confirm that you want to reset the phone and it should revert to its default settings, including the default display line justification.
If the issue persists after resetting the phone, it may be a hardware issue and you may need to contact Aastra customer support or a qualified technician for further assistance.
Phone your provider and ask them to turn on the indicator light. If you hear beep beep beep when you have a message they have it set wrong. Tell them you have a red light on your phone. They just set it incorrectly . Happens all the time hope this helps
Depending what system your provider is using it can either be done by you at home or they will have to set it. If you call your provider they will help you or they will fix it. Each ring is set at 6 second intervals so if you have 3rings that is 18 seconds. If you was 6 rings then ask for 36 seconds etc. hope this helps
You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system takes messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.
I lost a user manual, then found this site called find my manual. They emailed it to me in about 2 hours and it only cost about £3, which i thought was very reasonable.
If you have an active voicemail... but have never activated it:
The default password is 0 0 0 0 (four - zero's)
The voicemail will talk you right through setting up voicemail, after the set up you can press 8 anytime you are in the voicemail to make changes to your account.
If it doesn't take you right to the correct page, enter M5316 in the search window and it should find it for you. I tried to upload the document but there was no way to do it. Hope this helps.
If that model phone has a rj14 jack ( standard phone jack) and when you plug it into a known good wall jack and you can draw dial tone then it will work. If not it requires a KSU to interface with the lines and that's a lot more equipment than you need for 1 or 2 lines. Thank you. Jer
