Re: I have a intel DG965C0 motherboard and i want to...
Your m/board has built-in video.
It also supports PCIe (PCI Express x16)
If you install a video card, you will want to disablew the onboard video in the BIOS

Hi yair_osman, Install PCI Express [Graphics / Video Card] You can install {Any Type} of PCI Express Card.
It 'must be a [16x PCIe] card!" the "lowercase" (e) = Express.
Important!: It "must fix the {Form Factor} of your Desktop!"
Meaning: "The "Dimensions" in (inches)
Go to the "Website" below.
Its for your Desktop "Assembly Guide"
This is an example of a PCI Express Card: Galaxy 43GGS8HX3SPZ GeForce GT 430 Video Card Price: $69.99

hi:
first you need to know on your pc is the bus for the video card (PCI,AGP, or PCIe) them with that you can go on line to any retail store like best buy, tigerdirect or even ebay and buy one that cover your neccesities, best regards italocub
PCI is the older, slower format, PCIe is newer and faster, but your system MUST support PCIe or it won't work. So easy option is to find if your system supports PCIe and then get whichever is suitable.
Hi there. Your motherboard will support both kinds of Video card. PCI is quite old and is only supported up to 128MB of video memory. PCI Express is new technology and is by far the best card that you can buy giving you the best graphics experience and can support up to 1GB of graphics memory making it good for gaming.
Hi there. Any PCI Express card will do as long as its DDR2, DDR3 is not supported by your motherboard. You have a choice between ATI or Nvidia graphics cards and your system should support up to 1GB of graphics memory.
hi...if you want more to run games try to buy a Video card separate.. if mother board is PCIE slot buy the PCIE Video Card.if AGP Slot buy the AGP Video Card..the best VGA is 512x128 mb..Thanks and Good Luck..^_^
If your model number posted is correct, the reason your motherboard won't connect to an agp video card is because it doesn't support agp. The Foxconn 915P7AC-8KS uses PCIe for the video bus, so you would need to use a PCIe video card. (PCIe means PCI express, specifically PCIeX16 is the form factor that you would need.) Hope that this helps.
sir, you cant replace it with PCI E from AGP, unless your motherboard can handle either PCIE or AGP. cause there is a motherboard which is compatible with the two interface video cards slots but in your case i dont think so. Better to check your motherboards manual for this.
Start by Identifying what type of Card you need to buy. The Manual would be Extremely helpful in identifying What type of Video card slot you have. If that option is out you can look in the device manager and that should tell you what type.
There are many types For any modern Cards your Hoping for an AGP or PCIe Slot bare minimum you need a pci slot.
If you have a Vesa or ISA slot you'd be better off spending money on a new Motherboard & CPU
Once you know what type of card to buy PCI, AGP, or PCIe go out and look for the best card that fits your budget and that your PC meets its requirements
Most new Vid cards require a power supply connection or sometimes two or a special power supply adapter in addition to the available card slot PCIe comes in different speeds x1 x8 an x16 Make sure you have the right one that your card needs before buying. AGP likewise comes in 2 varieties AGP and AGP2 they have a different pin count on their edge connector so make sure what connector it has. PCI just about every semi modern PC has at least 2 PCI slots question is are the currently filled with other cards
Once you've purchased your card, you need to determine if you have an integrated video card. This would be a video connection that is built into your motherboard. If you do then you need to look up how to enter your BIOS to disable it (Usually pressing<Delete> or <F12> during boot up. Then go through and change the on board video card to disabled
press <F10> to save and exit power down PC Unplug power cord Remove case cover and install new Video card Replace case cover and plug back in Boot up PC Get Operating system up insert the CD that came with the new card to install drivers and utilities (Another alternative is to go to the website for the GPU or card manufacturer and get the latest drivers) [ often times the drivers on the install disc are already outdated]
reboot ....... Congratulations your need Vid Card is install Now go play that game your dying to beat ;)
