SOURCE: how can i change my panasonic nv-gs230 mini dv

Best
1. Copy the video to your computer with WinDV. No "capturing" involved. The video resolution and PAL/NTSC format will be the same as the source.
2. Then convert to whatever format you like.

You could also use something that copy and converts the video directly from the DV, like convert to dvd with Ulead DVD Workshop.
DV is a fixed standard and comes in 50Hz and 60Hz versions.

50Hz ("PAL" 625/50) 720x576, 25fps interlace (aka 576i)
4:2:0 components, 25Mb/s Video Rate
LPCM audio 2ch 16bit 48KHz or 4ch 12bit 32kHz

60Hz ("NTSC" 525/60) 720x480, 29.97fps interlace (aka 480i)
4:1:1 components, 25Mb/s Video Rate
LPCM audio 2ch 16bit 48KHz or 4ch 12bit 32kHz

Meaning, You cannot change the camera. It is either a pal camera or a ntsc camera. Othewise you will have to by a firmware update from the manufacture's website.

SOURCE: i cant eject my Panasonic NV-GS55 Mini DV Digital video cassette

Try ejecting cassette whilst powered from AC Adaptor. Secondly, try operating Eject from powered off mode. If operation LED starts flashing after any of these attempts, the mechanism is probably jammed or has become mis-timed. Unfortunately this requires professional intervention to avoid further damage to your equipment.

Hi, i am having panasonic nv gs-90 mini dv camcorder and the problem is how to copy files from tape to my pc. what is the procedure and which cables i need to have, hope you will reply soon

You need a firewire cable and a firewire card on your computer if it doesn't already have a firewire connector.

Then you'll need a capture software if you don't have windows movie maker.

Hope you can start making movies soon! :)

I have a panasonic NV-GS55 digital video camera,. My problem is,I cannot able to playback the videos that I had recorded. Please help...

This is usually caused by an oxidized or defective Audio/Video drum. Try running a cleaning tape through the camera. If this does not solve the problem the camera will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

I have a panasonic handycam. It shows an error which says Check Record Tab on startup. Because of this error i cannot use the handycam. Please suggest any solutions

Hi,

The record tab is usually on the tape itself and is usually red in colour.
If you slide the tab to the open position and then reinsert the tape it should allow you to record.

Regards.
