Battery loses charge when going up hill. Also hear clicking noise, but don't see anthing hitting the wheels. Is there a local authorized repair dealer near Williamsburg, VA, that could do a tune-up? The scooter is about 4 years old and can't find paperwork

When your batteries get old they lose their ability to maintain a full charge and going up an incline with weak or older batteries will result in a larger current draw and thus lower your batteries charge. I have noticed the clicking sound you are referring to on a few different models when the batteries get excessively low. I haven't found anyone that can tell me if its due to a weak motor, malfunctioning electo-brake or low batts. but it does go away with fully charged new batteries on flat ground.

Your battery does not lose charge when going up hill. The motor needs more power to get you up the hill, thus the power meter reads this as a voltage drop.

Hi, Something maybe touching the battery terminal and arcing is occuring. Check terminals again.
You may have to strap down the battery better. Good luck

1998 Contour, clicking noise coming from front wheel on drivers side as I'm driving(it's a consistent click)

With out hearing the noise it is hard to say but it could be a wheel bearing but most of the time a bearing will hum, this could be a bad cv axle or a brake brake hitting the bracket, try to drive the car and hit the brake a little and see if the clicking goes away, if it does then i would say it is in the brakes. if it does not then have the cv axle checked.

Have the STX Vipor electric car. Fully charged but won't go, just hear clicking noise.

If this was a real car this could be anything from anti-theft to a blown battery. Being as its a power wheels it would probably be the battery is ruined because it was charged sitting on concrete bare. Which will quickly destroy a battery. You may have to buy a new battery. The only other thing I can think of to check is if the motor is ruined powering the wheels. Which will be a much more expensive fix. Hope this helps:)

Hello,my laptop didn't get started it is charging

How do you know it is charging? What does it do when you hit the power button?

When you plug in the power cord is there any lightswhatsoever on the laptop, where the plug goes in or on the AC Adapter of thepower cord?

When you press the power button do you hear fans running, hard drive spinning, lights on the computer, hear any beeps or lights constantly blinking, hear theDvD/CD drive click and the light on the drawer of the DvD/CD turn on for asecond or two? If so the laptop is trying to boot or may have booted, butthe screen is not showing for some reason.

Beep tones and blinking lights tells the technicians what is going on with thelaptop and why it is not booting. Most times it's a motherboard issuewhen you hear beeps or blinking lights continuous.

Maybe your power cord is bad if you don't get anything to happen whatsoeverwhen you press the power button. And if that's true maybe you wasoperating off the battery the last time you had it on and since the power cordis bad, it was not charging the battery so the battery is drained and the powercord is bad.

Maybe you have a Static Charge Buildup. Remove the Power Cord, Remove theBattery, then Press and Hold the power button for 30seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in (leave the batteryout) and hit the power button to see if it boots. If it does, you can putthe battery back in and let it charge.

Bike starts to turn over but then stops and you hear this rapid clicking noise. Prior to this it would start but sometimes hear a fairly loud crunch noise like starter or something before it kicked over....

Its probably either a low charge on your battery or the battery cables don't have a good connection. If the battery's more than a few years old I'd just replace it because it will likely continue losing charge now that its already been drained once.

AC stopped blowing cold and check battery ight on

If your battery light is on...you may have lost your alternator.
The battery light or gauge for that matter is merely an indicator to show if the battery is feeling a charge.
If it don't feel the charge...the light comes on.
I'd have your alternator checked at your local parts house...a lot of them will test it for free.

As for the A/C...when an engine gets under a load, the A/C usually cuts out to give the engine less work like going up a steep hill, or passing another car, or if the alternator quits charging the battery.

Hope this helps...

Wheel bearing is making noise when the car is moving

Is this noise a clicking sound ? If you steer to the right and it stops for a second or two then it should be the left wheel. If you steer to the left and the noise stops the it is the right wheel. Best way to know for sure is an automotive stethoscope. Best way to do this safely is at a garage. Don't let them try to sell you both hubs at the same time. The other one could go for years before it needs replacing.
