Unwanted songs transferred to player

Every time I connect to Rhapsody (I have Rhapsody ToGo account), it transfers songs to my player that I havn't picked to transfer. I can just hook up to renew my licenses and it will transfer a bunch of songs without me doing anything. What is strange is that it always transfers the same songs and they are mostly songs that I have previously (some many months ago) transferred to another player, but have never transferred to the e250.

Please help, I'm getting tired of having to delete the same songs over and over again!!!!!!

Check to make sure the songs are not in a playlist that is set to auto transfer. click on the mp3, then on playlists. if the auto transfer is checked, uncheck it. it will transfer songs whenever you sign in if it is checked/

Everytrime I try to use the drag and drop method to manually import music, it says there has been a sync error, and the music isn't transfered. Help!

It seems that the songs are DRM protected. If the songs are DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected, please use Rhapsody to transfer them. You can refer to this link:
www.rhapsody.com/mac_faq

If they are not protected, then use Windows media player 11 to transfer music. Here is a link:
www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/howto/mp11/sync.aspx

Hope this helps.

My sansa fuze is telling me i need to synchronize to continue music subscription? What do i do?

Hi There. I can understand your problem.

When we say synchronize it means that the license for the songs which you transfered got expired. If you have chosen rhapsody for transferring songs then follow the steps.

1) Deauthorize Computer. ( In rhapsody menu, go to tools menu there u will find this option)
2) Deauthorize device (By connecting the device in to rhapsody, right click on device where u will get this option).
3) Rename DRM folder in windows OS.
4) Go to rhapsody folder c:/prog files/rhapsody
5) Run the 3 files ( Del Helix License, Update Helix Componetns and Update windows components)
6) Then you will be redirected to the web page where u need to click on upgrade (But before u clilck on upgrade please install the activeX control, which will be popped up below the address bar)
7) Restart the computer
8) Launch rhapsody, it will take u to the setup
9) Follow the on screen instruction.
10) Sign into rhapsody account
11) Authorize computer
12) Connect the device
13) Authorize device
14) Download and transfer new song into the device
15) Unplug the device and try to play it
16) This should work..

NOTE : When we update the windows component please make sure that we use IE as default browser

Still if u have any issues kindly revert

Not playing songs/ transferring to MP3 player on Rhapsody.

You probably have to redownload the songs again. Forget about the pictures, this player is pretty buggy, it's not worth it.

How do I transfer music into the MP3 Player from rhapsody list?

First, read your manual.
Second, find the name of the folder that the Rhapsody songs are stored in, and copy them or move them to the "My Music" folder on your computer. If you are handy with computers, instead of moving the Rhapsody songs to the My Music folder, go into Windows Media Player instead - click the arrow underneath the Library tab, and select "More Options" --> Library --> Monitor Folders --> Add the Rhapsody folder to your list of folders.
Third, make sure you have Windows Media Player installed on your computer, since that is the program you will be using to transfer the songs. Click on the Library tab, and make sure that the songs show up on your computer. Once you see them, click on the Sync tab and start dragging the songs (no more than 10 songs in one sitting) to the window that says "Drag files here to synchronize..."). Click Start Sync.

Warning: Some GoGear models recognize Rhapsody songs and others do not. If you have Rhapsody's Mp3-Only service, then you are in the clear no matter what model of GoGear you have. If you have one of Rhapsody's other subscriptions, you may be in trouble. If your Go Gear is truly an SA6045, it will recognize DRM-protected Rhapsody songs, so you will be OK. If you have an SA3025 or one of the newer models, you will only be able to successfully transfer songs by signing up for Rhapsody's Mp3-Only service.

CHARGING A 1 DAY USED SANDISK SANSA MP3 4G

Run the Sansa Recovery Tool from Sandisks' website and start over from scratch. Usually this problem is caused by trying to transfer too many songs at once, but any number of Rhapsody errors could have caused this.

Sansa c250 and rhapsody

I first suggest that you use Windows Media Player on transferring songs to the player. Rhapsody is a p**n in the a** when i use it to transfer songs to the player. Well back to the topic, make sure the device that you have is set to MTP when you are transferring songs to the player using rhapsody.. If it will not transfer format the player using Settings and then FORMAT if it did not work format the player in MSC mode. To do this, go to settings then to USB MODE then change it to MSC and then connect the player to the computer. After connecting the player to the computer ti will be detected as a removable disk drive. Right click on it then choose FORMAT make sure the file system is FAT32. THen after the format is done. Chnage the mode back to MTP then transfer a song using rhapsody. If all else fails using the windows mediaplayer program. Here are the instructions on using the windows media player program.

Sansa turns on but does NOT do anything!!! :0!!

Sounds like you have a few different problems, thankfully its easy to resolve. Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website, select FORMAT when prompted. http://sandisk.com/assets/file/downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe Best of Luck. (this only works with non Rhapsody devices, annotated by an 'R' or the word Rhapsody on back)
