No its not broken this is due to software problem there your software has been corrupt and need to be update, to get rid from it need to update your software. After updating no such display will be there if again there occurs need to change your display.
4 days of not being able to access Facebook with my Virgin Mobil LG Rumor touch, I finally talked to an IT person that had me download "Opera Mini" and she stated Virgin Mobil is no longer using the original Apps that came with the phone. Now I go thru Opera Mini and there is a square for Facebook.

Please press and hold the 1 button on your mobile.
Then choose one of the following options.
If you have "password skip" turned off,
you'll be asked for your password. Call customer care at 1.888.999.2321
from your mobile to reset your mailbox.
If you've got "password skip" turned on, press 3 for personal options.
Press 3 for mailbox settings.
Press 4 to change your password.
Choose one of the following options.
Enter a new password (4 - 10 digits long, numbers only) then press #.
Press 0 to find out what your current password is. Then press * to keep it
