Either you can either fix this in a quite simple way, or you need send this to a repair facility (more likely).
The led coming from orange to blue, with tv not responding means that tv is on Protection. This is a special diagnostic mode that is started automatically whenever an internal fault is detected.
That means that the power surge caused a fault.
If you had been lucky enough the problem may be due to electrostatic cahrge accumulating on power board capacitors.
In this case you fix the problem leaving the TV unplugged (cord not connected, turning off is not enough) from power for one hour or so. That should be more than enough to find out, since this TV does not have high voltage circuits apart the inverter board.
If it does not restart, that means that there is an internal fault, and for real. This can be a commonly blown capacitor, another component had blown, that happen commonly after a power surge.
Regarding the main board, that is called controller board
(Visco LCD Controller 05A20-1B for model VSC-37V1
), this is only rarely damaged by a power surge. More exposed to this kind of damaga are the power adapter/power board, and the inverter board (
Visco Back Light Inverter VIT71010.52 for model VSC-37V1
).
Also Signal board resistor and capaitors on input/output boards can blow during a power surge.
Leave tyhe TV power cable unplugged for a while, if this does not fix it, call for service.
