I know the normal way is to call the provider of the phone (network carrier) and ask them for it. The alternative is to use a program to read the code on a Windows PC via a USB cable with appropriate drivers installed. There is a custom program called "LG SPC PROGRAM.exe". It is approximately 56kb in size. I found it on 4shared. Some antivirus software will report this software as being a virus/trojan. I always try to run unknow programs sandboxed so they cannot harm my computer. Google "sandboxie" for a windows sandboxing program.
