it can be unlocked by calling your carrier and they will give you the infomation unlock code as long as the account is current and not delienquent if canceled it will cause some of the features not to work on the device

khan_masroor,The 8330 only supports CDMA network not GSM, Majority of Asia and Europe support GSM but Korea and Japan use CDMA. Please check with your local operators if CDMA is supported, my apologies I do not know which country you want to use it, hope this helps.

1st check the video formats for the videos your trying to play. most fones only play Video: MPEG4 Video 320×240, 300 Kbps, 20 fps Audio: LAME MP3 44100Hz stereo 96Kbp. using this format reload the video and try it. secondly ive had trouble with my fone and this isssue was a blown speaker because the fone got to much moisture. check this or call your carrier.
