Sony Bravia KDL-46V4100 46 in. LCD HDTV - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My Sony Bravia tv screen
Hi there,
If you haven't done so already, check that the cable between your tv and digital cable box(probably HDMI) is secure at both ends. If it is, try a different cable and/or different port on your tv if you have more than one. If the issue is still there after you've tried these options it's most likely an issue with either the digital box or tv. I would contact manufacturer at this stage for advise and possible replacement of tv or box if they are under warranty.
Hope this helps.

Sony kdl-46v4100 red light blinks 6 times please help
Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

How do I get Netflix on my Sony tv
You used to be able to stream Netflix on this model with the Bravia Internet Video feature. (BIV) Unfortunately this feature is no longer supported. In order to get your Netflix now, you will need a Roku box or a Netflix thumb drive (fire stick). I hope this helps.

Forget pin code
On the back of the TV on the bottom left hand side, there is a small black sticker just about 2 cm square. It gives the Model Number, the S/N and the P/N (PIN). If thats no help then you can go to Sony website and get support:

How do i hook external speakers to sony bravia
The proper way to do this would be to use the audio output from the TV, either analogue left and right or the optical port, and send it into an dedicated amplifier or AV receiver. You can then use the amplifier or receiver to power the external speakers. If you are using a dedicated amplifier with no volume control you will want to change the audio output setting on the TV to "variable out" as oppose to its current "fixed out"settings. You can find this in the TV menu, usually under the audio settings. This will allow you to use the current TV remote to adjust the audio volume coming out of the external speakers.

I have a 46" Sony Bravia TV that has colored verticle lines about 2-3" wide just left of center.
Hi,
Yor tv have problem with T con board. T con board is one which drives the pixels of the LCD panel. If any of the driver satge in the T con board is faulty then this problem can occur.
Some times bad contacts on the connections of the t con board can cause same problem. Remove the tv and find out the t con bard. Remove the connections to it and the reconnect the connections. Then check, if the problem remains the same then the tv need a new T con board.
You have didn't mentaioned any model number of your tv. So it is not possible to show you exactly how T con board looks.
Normally in all lcd tvs the tcon board is place on the bottom or top middile position. Which will be cover with metal cover or aluminium foil.
Here I have added a link which will lead you to the picture of T con board for toshiba.( Not exact one)
