My classic controller's buttons don't work at all

Have you made sure its plugged in properly and secure? Or made sure the wire isn't damaged? If its fine I would suggest trying a different controller or try a Nintendo GameCube one, they work.

My player is spining by it self in black ops

I would get a knife and clean around the joystick. It will be the left joystick as that manoeuvres your los whereas the right moves you. So yeah, clean the area around the js and should work fine. If not try get a new controller, you can pick up some in vg condition for around 5-6 pounds

If the button works in other games then by process of elimination it sounds like the game is the problem. I would contact nintendo about the issue and possibly get a refund for the game.
Thank you,

Squeaky left analog stick

Hi, the problem you are having is due to a build up of dust all you can really do yourself is go to a computer hard ware store and buy a can of compressed air then give the control a good blast with this try and get it in all the holes and move the stick whilst you spray air under the stick doing this should solve you problem.
if it dont then it will mean taking the control apart to solve the problem if you google how to take wii control apart you will find loads of guides that help you then you need to give it a good clean and that should stop it making the noise.

its not easy to take it apart and you could do more harm than good so you have been warned

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

I'm wondering is there a way to invert the axis on

I suppose you could hardwire your vertical controls backwards. Other than that, I guess you'd have to wait for someone to design one with switches. If you bug the super-techy guys, one of them will eventually build one.

Classical controller + Wii remote nmot working!

Hi there,

Well have you tried using the Classic Controller for other compatible games like Smash Bros, Brawl, etc.)? Try that out, and see if it works. If not, it might be the Wii remote itself. If that's the case, try using a different Wii remote (Use your wii remote friend's) to test it, and get yours replaced by Nintendo (if it's still under warranty). Be sure you have everything correctly set up, like the Wii Remote being synced, the Classic Controller being plugged into the Player 1 Wii Remote, etc. Please post comments for further help or information.......

Good Luck!!

Thanks

Some games will not work with all controllers, and they typically state as much when the game is loading in virtual console. But the Classic Controller and Gamecube Controller should work with most SNES titles in Virtual Console.
