It's easy! For one thing DON'T renew Norton. It sucks. Two great anti virus programs that I have used recently are FREE ! !! One is AVG Anti-Virus and I would also recommend CCLEANER (**** Cleaner). AdWare is another good one. In fact, I have all THREE on my computer and use them on a regular basis. Just GOOGLE the names I gave you and forget about Norton...... Did I mention they are FREE ?????????????? :)

Updates for Windows Defender are usually included in regularly scheduled Windows updates. However, you can manually download and install the updates yourself. Updates may be available in several places online, but only download those from Microsoft's official website. Files from other sources may in fact be viruses or other malware disguised as legitimate update files. Log into your Windows Vista computer as an administrator. You will also need an iTunes store account but the software walks you through setting it up.

The iTunes music comes in as I think an mp4 which doesn't play in Windows Media player. But you can click on the music and export as it an MP3 and that will play in the Windows Media Player.

No 500mb of songs is not a problem for Windows Media player. I have in excess of 400GB of music on a network hard drive and it copes without difficulty. If you look at the bottom of Media player you will see a pair of icons to the left of the play button. The one furthest left is the "Shuffle" button.

Hi. You can install codec pack called ffdshow it runs most of videos. If there is rmvb exstension you will need rmvb codec.

Try reboting your computer, if tha does not work, Go to Microsoft.com and contact customer service and tell them about your problem. Also, you can try to download Service Pack 2 or 3. Before you do this, you may want to try to go to the Control Panel and click on the System and Security option and click on "Find and Fix Problems" and follow instructions, or click on the System and security and check the :Action Center" or "Windows Update." Your Windows Media Player couldn't play DVD format because maybe you forgot to select such file type for which you want WMP to be the default player. To troubleshoot this problem please see the following steps:

• Step 1: Open your Windows Media Player
• Step 2: Right click the bottom portion of the player and select TOOLS then OPTIONS

how long have you been using the burner? does it burn data and audio completely? try cleaning the lens with lens cleaner and check the CD/DVD you are using to burn your movies. also try using another burning program

Did you go into the bios to make sure the computer boots from the dvd drive and not the hard drive. Booting from dvd should install vista dvd files.
