You CAN reset the lamp hours. It is surprisingly easy.Hold UP on the projector until the lamp hours appear. Then press left or right to reset. This took me a while to find! But it's in the service manual.

You can't, it doesn't have a TV tuner built in.

unfortunately, lg won't tell anyone outside of lg service centers about how to do this. it's just their way of ensuring return business. sorry.

I tried to find out any info on this unit but was unable to locate the model number even through LG tech support...the key symbol could be a security mode--other brands of projectors have an anti-theft setting(you enter a custom numerical security code) that makes the projector work. Heh, the factory setting for the other brands I know of was a series of zeros. But, if you change the code, you better remember it else it'll have to be sent to the manufacturer to be unlocked again! That way, if it's stolen, it won't work.

clean out projector with canned air. if that doesn't work, the colorwheel may be dirty and needs cleaning or replacing. remove the lamp and look inside the lamp housing to see the colorwheel. if it is clear colored glass, it's fine. if it's milky, it's filthy.

For the LG LED TV, you can find the manual and code information on the LG website. As to the codes for the remote, no I can't find them. BUT they might be in the user guide if the following site is legit. You do have to register to get its download. maxent rc 282 remote manual (suprlative-medai.com) I don't even know if they charge for it. I'm not that game to register. There are sites that sell the remote. I'd make use they sold the manual along with it! Just an idea, considering you have the remote. But it might be easier to pick up another universal remote from Wal-mart. The only other link to the manual turned out to be a guy who said in 2012 that he had the manual and for the person who was seeking it at the time to contact him. That suggests this is a pretty old remote you are trying to find the manual for. But maybe you will download it from the link I provided --at your own risk. Some such links are okay, others not. I would at least install Malwarebytes before trying the download.

Usually caused by overheating. It switches off to protect itself. Anonymous, yours sounds like the bulb has failed or the step up transformer. They used to be an HID arc lamp, but the specs say it is an LED! The vertical colored lines that usually show up on a TV's screen is caused by the T-Con board is not working properly. Lots of times this can very easily be caused by from wiring that is not been fully securely fastened.Or the T con board is not working and will have to be replaced.

Your projector will need to be repaired in order for the white lines to stop showing up.

go to set up menu then lamp hours to reset
