IS GPXMW3847 COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS VISTA?
l had the same problem. I had a problem song that I had to remove. Then I had to reboot the GPX back into the computer. It took me a couple of tries but I finally figured it out. When you first plug in your GPX it asks you if you want it to sync automatically I picked not to and it seems to work. I hope this helps you.
Add songs
You plug the mp3 into your CPU(the tower) into the usb port. Go to My computer and you'll see GPX down the bottom right. Click on it, then go to open music and click on it...drag the music files to the mp3 window you pulled up.
Battery wont hold charge
Yeah If you have warranty take it back.. It seems that the battery is defective, if you dont have warranty or you cant take it back i'd suggest you take the battery out, ( A standered lithium battery) and buy one to replace it, you may get in your local electronics store.
Window xp
strange. i went to their site and shows drivers for 98 and me not xp.. must be a upper and lower filter issue that wont let the device to be recognized properly

My gpx mw240s says error and i cannot play any music. What else should i try doing?
If your GPX MW240S MP3 player is displaying an error message and not playing any music, there are a few things you can try to fix the issue:
- Reset the player: Sometimes resetting the MP3 player can fix the error. To reset the GPX MW240S, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, release the button, and then turn the player back on.
- Check the music files: Ensure that the music files you are trying to play are in a compatible format with the GPX MW240S. The player supports MP3 and WMA formats, and if your files are in a different format, they will not play. You can convert the files using a free online converter.
- Update the firmware: If the player's firmware is outdated, it may cause errors while playing music. You can update the firmware by downloading the latest version from the GPX website and following the instructions.
- Check the storage space: If the MP3 player's memory is full, it may cause errors. Delete some files from the player to free up space.
If none of these solutions work, there may be a hardware issue with the player, and it may need to be repaired or replaced.

On my gpx cd home music system HM38170T the cd door won't open. How do I fix it?
If the CD door on your GPX CD home music system HM38170T won't open, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check for obstructions: Make sure there is nothing blocking the CD door or the area around it. Sometimes small objects or debris can get stuck and prevent the door from opening. If you see any obstructions, carefully remove them.
- Power cycle the system: Turn off the system and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. Sometimes power cycling can help reset the system and fix any issues.
