Kodak ZD710 Digital Camera - Page 9 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I cannot view pictures on my SD card on my Kodak c703.but can view them on an other camera.Any advice please
You only can view pictures shot in the same camera. Although a camera has a micro processor, it does not have the same viewing possibilities as a computer. Sometimes when you not even see your own pictures, shot in the camera, pressing the display button several times can help or putting the camera in viewing mode. If Notting works, and you even can see something on the display while shooting pictures, you have to fear the display is defect.

How do i use it as web cam Kodak v350
Almost no digital camera can be used as webcam, because without the correct software the computer will not recognise it as a web cam and won't be able to put through the images that come from the camera's sensor. Most digital camera's won't allow you to put live view on, was soon as an USB cable is conneted.

What kind of charger does this Kodak Dashboard CW330 take?
The original battery pack is nothing but 2 AA batteries held together with a plastic holder, you can use regular AA rechargeable batteries and save some money. I had a similar camera with the original battery pack held together with some plastic holder, I simply substituted that battery pack with 2 regular rechargeable common batteries and camera works the same.

How do I format memory card
Hi there,
If you can't find the setting in the camera, then take the memory card out and insert it in PC and re-format it there.
You will need a attachment part to fit in card, then fit attachment to PC via USB plug.
Hope this helps?.
Andy.

Why are the batteries dying so quickly in my Kodak 12MP?
The main complaint against compact digital cameras used to be battery life. This was in the days when a 4 or 6MP would have been top-of-the-range.
The life of standard zinc-carbon batteries could be measured in minutes rather than hours and decent alkaline batteries might last the duration of a wedding but might not.
Manufacturers rushed to produce better batteries to meet the booming new market and the camera manufacturers began fitting rechargeable lithium batteries as standard in basic and lower cost cameras and with further developments in technology batteries now last much longer.
Leaving the batteries fitted into the camera when it wasn't being used didn't help much as the circuitry had to be kept alive to retain the settings.
Your camera might have a fault causing the batteries to discharge quickly but if it is working ok, probably not. If you have long experience with your camera and it has suddenly started costing lots of batteries it might be a good idea to update it. It has certainly been many years since Kodak cameras had the reputation for quality...
Meanwhile I suggest you use only high-capacity lithium batteries and remove them when the camera is not going to be used for a while.

Where can I get Kodak 620 films developed??
I would take the film to a custom processing lab; that is where professionals take film. The only difference between 620, which is no longer used, and 120 is the spool that the film is wound on. A custom lab can remove the film from the spool by hand and process it for you. It will be more expensive than you normally pay for processing. You can save money by having them develop the negatives only and then taking the negatives to a low cost lab for machine printing or they can make professional quality prints for you at a cost, of course.

My Kodak easyshare reads lens obstructed please help
Please next time add the camera model to the question. I think I can answer this one.
When you get this message, the sensor that should see the lens in its end stop, can't give the signal to the main board.
This could mean the lens is not fully out, the sensor is defect, or the wiring in the camera is defect.
You should check if you can see any damage to the lens barrel, causing the barrel not to move fully out.
Then when you switch the camera on, you have to take care not to hold your hand close to the lens, so you stop the movement.
Careful feel ig the lens can move out, if you pull softly.
Then switch of the camera and look if the lens retracts. If so, remove the battery for a few moments and replace it, Then switch on the camera again and ope it will work normal.
When the error is coming back, think twice before you send it in for repairs. First check what a new camera costs. Then ask what it will cost a repair then decide repair or a new one.

No it not digital cameras, it a Kodak Star 435.
The Kodak Star 435 uses standard 35mm film, also known as size 135. 35mm film is available in a variety of lengths: 12-, 20-, 24, and 36-exposure.
You can get 35mm film for black-and-white prints, color prints, and color slides at any decent camera store. Many supermarkets and drugstores also carry 35mm film, though not as wide a selection. And, of course, you can buy film online.

Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS Digital Camera firmware update
If there is an update available, it must be on this site. But DON'T try to update a camera that is not 100% functional. You would end up with a camera that never can be used. read the update actions very careful. I can't get the firmware, because they ask what device I own. (serial number and so on)
