I have i-mate JAQ. I want modem drivers of JAQ for xp operating system.

i need software for windows to re-install software

my imate jaq doesnt connect to my pc. Is this a problem related to drivers. If yes, then I suppose the installation cd does contain a driver please advice.

I am sure there is one to download. If google is no help, just ask some deep web specialists, e.g. http://manualfox.com/driver.htm - this is a manual search agency and if they don´t find it, it does not exist in the Internet.

Download imate-configurator from the imate website.


Go to: http://www.imate.com

1. Enter your country name
2. Select "Support"
3. Select "Device Support"
4. Select "Your Phone"
5. Select "Patches"
6. Download i-mate configurator

install the cab file in your device, the settings will automatically be done.
You may then connect to the internet.

Sir, the problem maybe because there is no driver that connects the mobile phone to the pc. Try downloading a nokia pc suite for you to access the phone.

Try to do a hard reset for your Imate JAQ, but before you do this, you have to make a back-up of all your important files so that you can easily retrieve it.

I was also having same problem is very easy just go to the main office of ur network provider and ask them for modem

Try to check your charger and battery 'coz it might be a problem... use a voltage tester... or try to "shock" your battery using a voltage regulator with 12V output voltage... red wire on he positive battery terminal and black wire at the negative... have contact at least 5 sec then try to charge....

Restore your PDA to factory defaults and try to make the connection again. I think it will work.

note: all three at the same time
1)push stylus into soft reset hole + press FN key + press right soft key.
2) phone will restart to factory settings

Did you already tried to reset it? If so and the same problem, try to send your pda to a service center and from their they can hard reset it.

Hi, I'm afraid there is no offical or unoffical ROM upgrade for your PDA yet (ROM is the place where the PocketPC operating system is stored, and each device model has a different ROM so sadly you cannot use any other Windows Mobile 6 ROMs with your device.). I am giving more details about this issue to make it clear. Still you can follow the forums time to time to check if someone makes a ROM for your PDA. Basic problem is unlike most of the PDAs, your PDA is a non-HTC based PDA. I hope this helps. You can still download some PDA software to use your device more efficiently (Most of the PDA softwares are designed for working on both WM5 and WM6, since your device uses WM5, you won't be having a problem.).
