i have useing i-mate jaq my problem is zipper file is not working in my cell. so please solve my problem.

I really suggest if you can contact your Network Service Provider to send you the setting of your GPRS, they can send you over-the-air or you may call them or drop by to their offices and they can set it to you manually. It will be easier and will be more specific.

i am unable to use my i-mate as a modem to acess internet by using my computor wimdowxp

its not the softwhere as much as missing hardware like the data link cord your phone should hook directly to device and start working properly

it will not show u sending via bluetooth but it sends as beaming the file

I have the same problem. Activesynk version 4.00 installed from original CD which I got with i-mate JAQ but I saw the message on computer display, minimum requirement is version 4.1 so I get 4.1.4841.0 and installed but status shows connecting but it does not connect.

on your i-mate JAQ go to programs>internet sharing>connect.
prior to this pl make sure that your pda is connected to ur desktop via USB cable and it is synked with the desktop.

Use Active sync. It will ask you to select items to be synchronized. Select Addresses. The contact will be transfered to the Address Book in your system used for Outlook.

Dear Have u got ur GPRS or EDGE service activated from AIRTEL. Pls confirm it, if yes then following are the settings for airtel.

go to
>>START>>SETTINGS>>CONNECTIONS
connections>>Add a new Modem connection
>>Enter name-airtel or Mobile office
>>select a modem>>it should be Cellularline (GPRS)
>>NEXT
>>eNTER THE NAME AS IT SHOULD BE DIALED
>>enter airtelgprs.com (all small caps)
>>NEXT
>>FINISH

NOW again go to START>>SETTINGS>>CONNECTIONS>>connection>> Advanced>> select networks
There will be two options
1-prog that automatically connect to the internet
2-prog that automatically connect to a private network

there is a utility called i-mate configurator. Simply tap it , it will automatically detect the SIM card and if GPRS service is enabled on that SIM, it will configure it that too.

I have I mate spl I want driver for cable modem

I think u need to convert them in some other format like .avi .3gp .mp4 and u will find so many converters for that. and for player u can download TCPMP for pocket PC.
