Mmitsubishi wd-73733 dlp green light flashing

This may help you if the set has the tiny recessed reset button on the front, those buttons (not the button itself but the tiny push switch under or behind it) do fail and trigger the set into the blinking green light of death--lots of techs call that.Somewhere behind the speaker grill is a access plate, removed you will see the bundle of wires that come from the front keyboard---there will be a inline plug----Disconnect it.Turn set on with remote--if it works the micro switch for the recessed reset button (its a joke as all it does is reboot the digital board) is bad---the remote will still work as the receiver is inside the screen unit. Leave it disconnected if the set works OR spend a few hours getting at the defective micro switch and remove it.If the switch is bad they only sell (if its available any more) the whole pc board with all the controls on it.

What is the picture settings for wd-73834 mitsubishi hdtv

Most of this is personal preference---if contrast (picture) is set too high the picture will have some smearing on dark or even very bright scenes--try to have that set at about 70% and brightness just a bit higher---a proper setting of the two will give a better picture with more clarity. Color and tint to preference and sharp to not full smooth (mid-range) Other than these signal provided accounts for clarity--pixels stopping etc is not the set but the signal provided not fast enough to keep up----cable and sat often jams a lot of info into a small space and that sort of issue results. If you have a HD quality Blue Ray compare it to your signal source and usually it will look much better.I have taken the time to cover as many bases here as possible.Hope it helps in some small way.SD TECH

On the TV not the remote, simultaniously press the menu and input button for at least 5 seconds. This should give an error code. If it blinks 3 times then a pause then blinks 2 times, the code would be 32. Get your error code and look in the service book at: http://www.audiolabga.com/pdf/V36-V37-V38_Service_Manual.pdf -

White dots on my mitsubishi WD-73734 tv screen

Your tv is a DLP projection one. In it the image is generated by projecting light on a chip that is covered in tiny mirrors that reflect more or less the light towards the screen. In your case some of those tiny mirrors are no longer controlled - they are immobile and reflect fully the light so you get a white spot on the screen. The DMD chip that holds the mirrors is dying and you will have to replace it. This is the only place i could find that claims to have it on stock. You can also go thru Ebay, in there you will find second-hand ones extracted from defective tv's.It's installation is strictly a job for a person with great tv repair experience - too many thins can go wrong in there if the job is not done properly.

Thousand white spots on screen started with two

Sine the TV's a rear projection DLP and the problem "grew" over time, perhaps those white spots are... DUST!!! Try a vacuum cleaner; there are ventilation holes/slots on the back and sides. If sucking and/or blow air into it moves the spots, then it's definitely dust or some other debris/contamination. If the contamination is hard to access, you may have to open it up to do liposuction.

I have little white dots showing up on my screen

You need a new dlp chip. The tiny Micro mirrors inside of it are getting stuck and there is no way of freeing them. You can either buy a new light engine which is very expensive or buy a new DLP chip and change it yourself. It takes about 30 minutes to do and is very easy. I have the DLP chip for $225 new. Other places will charge you about $345. [email protected]

You need to leave a lot more information than that. What is the background of replacing the lamp? Where is the clicking noise coming from? Is the lamp light flashing, etc.? My current best guess is that your ballast may be bad, but more info is always helpful in diagnosing a problem. Good luck.

My TV keeps blowing the lamps. Gone through 2 in

ok.. my first instinct for this problem is airflow... check to see if the filter is cloged or blocked...make sure the fan is blowing to cool it. if this all seems right then you might have what is called a faulty ballast. which may need replaced. or the fan might be jammeded.
