Give sirius a call. You'll need the account password to deactivate the radio. If it's lifetime activation, then just let it stay active. The new owner will not be able to access your account, or view any information about it.

My Stiletto 2 works fine

You may want to try to run a device recovery. Sometimes when a battery is drained, the Stiletto only remembers the status of the last battery as it ran completely out. A device recovery would help it reinitialize and recognize a new battery. Instructions and links for device recovery can be found here: http://www.tss-radio.com/links

All Sirius content is recorded to the internal memory of the Stiletto2.

The radio shuts down between 2-15 mins everytime.

Hi, continuity check your fuses, they're tiny green SMD fuses located near your dock connector. However, it sounds more like a bad internal connection than a fuse. This was a problem that plagued ST1 sirius radios: solder on the chips' pins would crack, and when the unit heated or cooled it would no longer make a connection, thus requiring a reboot. Long story short, most of them can't be fixed without reworking the connections (and that's a lot of effort for something that will break again).

I'd advise you to send the unit back to sirius if you're still under warranty.

I have a subscription for

Your subscription is keyed to the receivers unit ID, so yes, you would have to buy a second subscription if you bought another unit. If you stop using one of them you can transfer the subscription to the other one. Satellite radio in general is not doing as well as the manufacturers were hoping, so you could probably get a deal on the second unit's subscription.

I'm considering purchasing a Sirius Stiletto 2

You will need to use the aux input from the top of the unit, or from the back of your home dock. If your receiver has a built in or add-on dock for the XM2GO line of radios, you will need to read here: http://www.digitalradiocentral.com/sirius-backstage/stiletto/108379-i-converted-xm2go-dock-stiletto.html

Try plugging it into USB and using this recovery software: http://www.sirius.com/servlet/Satellite?c=FlexContent&cid=1202144018210&pagename=Sirius%2FFlexContent%2FFlexEmpty
It may also need to be in the charging base during the restore.

How can i cancel the

Hi,

You will need to perform a SIRIUS Device Recovery.

You will need to run the SIRIUS Device Recovery program, which is included on the My Sirius Studio CD-ROM. The Device Recovery program supports: Stiletto 2, Stiletto 100, and Stiletto 10.
If you have misplaced your MSS CD-ROM, you may download the SIRIUS Device Recovery program from http://www.sirius.com/mysiriusstudio

NOTE: Performing device recovery WILL ERASE the entire contents on your Stiletto: all
music, Sirius recordings, channel presets and any user preferences. The Stiletto will be reset to its
original factory state.

DO NOT UNPLUG OR DISCONNECT YOUR STILETTO DURING THE RECOVERY
PROCESS; DOING SO WILL LEAVE YOUR STILETTO PERMANENTLY INOPERABLE.

If this doesn't work for you, please comment and let me know, and I will be more than happy to assist you to further resolve your issue.

I will appreciate your feedback and positive rating for this solution.
Thank you.

Stilleto 2 keeps shutting down

It may be a problem with the power switch, I too had this problem. It seems like the power switch is stuck in "down" position as if you were holding it. I remove my battery cover (along with the battery) and gently jiggle the switch up and down to "loosen" whatever may be sticking it in place and it seems to work. I have encountered this problem several times. I did not send it out for repair. It works fine for me (knock on wood).

Can my Itunes be put on sd card and listened to

If you purchased the music through the Itunes store it has what is called DRM (Digital Rights Management) and unfortnately cannot be exported. However if you added music to your Itunes from CD's that you owned or borrowed, etc then yes you can. The first process you have to do is get an MP4/AAC to MP3 converter to go straight from Itunes to SD card. Free ones can be downloaded from www.cnet.com downloads. The other option if you have a laptop or desktop with a cd burner is to go into Itunes and have it BURN CD... look in Apple Help for exact instructions. This will make an MP3 readable CD. You can then copy and paste the MP3 files from your CD to your SD card and the Stiletto can play MP3 encoded files. Good Luck!
