I need to completely reset a W810i. Tried the 'Reset All' from Master Reset. But one of the games still has its original high scores undeleted! Unable to delete the game too, seemingly one of the inbuilt games.

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE UNLOCK CODE FOR THE SONY ERICSSON 580i AND THE PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW IN WHICH TO DO SO.
First need to find the IMEI for your phone. Power on phone
and type *#06# this will display the IMEI. You will need the IMEI to get the corresponding unlock code. Every phone has a different unlock code. Then call your provider and request the unlock code.

I have been given this mobile, it has been unlocked to accept any sim card but whatever sim card I put in it keeps showing inactive sim card on screen. I have tried inserting my original 02 sim card but it is also showing inactive sim. Please help.

phone just showing white screen, turned off, replaced battery, sim card etc but with no result. read that this is a common problem with this model, is there anyway i can resovle the problem myself or does it have to be returned to store?
i got the say problem 2 days back. I read some pots in forums. This is what worked for me. First fully charge the phone some. Get a friend's phone or something. Then get ready with the data cable and your computer with internet.
Goto Sony ericsson site.
search for w810i SEUS Sonys update system.
At the bottom result it says"Sony Ericsson - Support - Update Service Compatible with K510i W810i W200i .
Click on that and dowload the program. At the right corner it shows the phones which supports it.
install the program and run it.
do exactly what it says.
it worked for me. I got all my contacts and messages back.

Hi...having problems with phone (w910i) i bought off EBAY..not getting any reply from seller as when i try to use the phone it says Phone Lock Code on screen.When i tried entering the 0000 it says wrong code.Rang sony ericsson who said that i would have to send back to them to re-set it at a cost of £22 .Just wondering if there is any other alternative ..i haven't much of a clue when it comes to mobile phones and this was bought as a B/day present for my son.Tried new T.mobile sim but that too does the same .
Hope you may be able to give some advice.

i have put my phone number and 8 digit code in but its not taking it .

Be sure to put your number in as "07..." rather than "+447..."
If this fails to work, call 789 from your Virgin Mobile phone, or 0845 6000 789 from a landline. They may be able to help.

my w810i phone is flashing white screen and cannot turn on
alright bro, i just brought one and when turning on it just flashed white screen then turned off. i went on the sony ericsson website and downloaded the update program and ran it. phone is fine now..... hope this is helpful. p.s anyone know how to unlock one of these for free???

I received a pic message from a virgin mobile subscriber in the UK. I am a Vodacom subscriber in SA. The sms says to log onto www.virginmobile.co.uk/getmessage, if I do that it asks for a virgin mobile number, which I enter from the number that it was sent from + the message code.
It then throws me out, so which number must I type in to be able to retrieve this damn pic message.

when i connect my phone to computer via usb and select phone mode to transfer files my computer doesnt see it but new hardware wizard comes up and still wont find program. i have downloaded the software thats on sony ericsson's website but still wont work. when i put the phone in file transfer mode when i connect the usb my computer finds it and it works fine but i cant take the stuff off my phone in this mode just put stuff on the phone from computer......please help!!!!
