My keurig will pump water through when there is no cup but will not pump through when there is a k-cup in it

Run a straightened paperclip thru the two needles that puncture the top and bottom of the k-cup. That should fix it.

Could be the exit valve on the k-cup holder is clogged.had same prob and fixed in 2 mins.Take out k-cup holder as if you were going to brew your own grinds. It will twist off into two pcs.Take the top pce and get a paper clip and stick end of paper clip into valve from the bottom and wiggle a little then run under water to clean out.reassemble and you should be brewing coffee again.Good luck

This happened to me on my first machine, and I thought it was broken. Thankfully I called and it just needs cleaning. Check the Keurig website for instructions. http://www.sgvtribune.com/social-affairs/20140715/redacted-report-states-removed-bassett-principals-threatened-suspended-students

Water pot part leaking from the rubber part on bottom? that's the only thing I could think for you to check. Maybe not getting a good enough connection to the coffee maker itself

Why would my keurig only push through a small amount of water from a pod but give a full cup when using a fill your own pod?

Hmm, this is a very interesting question. My experience tells me it is probably two things that are happening with your Keurig. It takes a bit more air pressure to push the water out of the heater through a new pod than pushing it thorough a do-it-yourself pod. This would have to do with how much coffee is in the new pod, vs. your own pod and the grind of the coffee. My guess is that the grind in the new pod is finer than the grind you are using in yours. Anyway, the issues are probably experiencing are either a weak air-pump motor "and" a leaky solenoid valve, or a combination of both. The air pump motors are notorious for getting all rusty and corroded on the inside due to water leaking from a bad solenoid mounted directly above it. Once the motor armature starts to get rusty it starts to lose power because it doesn\'t spin freely anymore. In addition, the solenoids used on this machine are also notorious for leaking and the internals become corroded. Once the inside of the solenoid becomes corroded it gets sticky and will not firmly seat closed during the brew cycle. If the valve doesn\'t close all the way it will allow some of the air from the air pump to bypass the water heater and flow into your external water reservoir. During the brew cycle of a new pod do you notice any air or water draining back into the external water reservoir? If so, you have a leaky solenoid. Bottom line is, if you are not a technical person, you\'ve got big problems with your machine. This explanation is getting a bit long and boring (I know), so if you want to know your options to fix it or return it for a new one, you will have to send me another note. The repair is a pain! Good luck and I hope this helped.

Keurig coffee maker model b70

Not to be coy, but the best way to repair this problem is to take your Keurig back to Bed Bath & Beyond and exchange it for a brand new one! As for your problem, your description was not detailed, but I would guess that the leak you are referring to is not coming out of the reservoir at all, but is actually coming from the bottom of your machine. The reason for this is that there is a solenoid located in the back of the unit that is notorious for leaking over time. The only way to repair it is to completely disassemble the unit and replace it. This solenoid is also responsible for your Keurig to "short-cup" you, meaning your Keurig brews, but you only get a partial cup of coffee. If your unit has not done this yet, it will start shortly. So back to what I said at the beginning, your best option is to simply return it to BBB for a new one. You do not need a receipt, nor have had purchased it there in the first place. If you are interested in this option (& I highly recommend it), please send me an email at [email protected]. And I will send you al the information you need on how to return it for free. If you decide to send me an email to learn about this, please let me know in the email that you were from Fixya.com. If you want to know more about why the Keurig leaks and how to repair it, please search You Tube for my video series call Keurig Operation and Repair. It's long, tedious and extremely boring, but skip around and then send me an email. You will be happy you did. Good luck and IO hope this helps.
