Check on ebay etc to find its current value and use that as a guide to compare with a repair quote, if its not worth it put it up for auction to recoup some cash against a new one. i just solved this problem by connecting it to an a/v output (in my case, a TV). it works well on the TV screen and when i pulled out the jack, my viewer's screen when back to normal.

After two different calls and a couple of hours on the phone with Epson, my problem had a very simple solution. Vista had not assigned a drive letter to the P-5000. I simply had to assign a drive letter and it's now working fine.

By the way, the first call to Epson ended with their Level 1 support guy telling me I needed to call Microsoft! Needless to I wasn't happy with that answer and let him know it. :D

the little wheel at the top on the left side roll it to the right to advance to the next song. hold it to the right to advance quickly, and roll it to the left to go to the previous song. Push it straight down to get to the roo menu.

If the display is working, you have audio. Check your amplifier. 1300Watt adaptor ... This unit draws a very low power and that is not needed.

1. Power Off: Turn off the device.
2. Jumper Configuration: Locate the jumper labeled "S16" on the device. Initially, it should be connected to pins 2 and 3.
3. Power On (Alarm+All LEDs Flashing): Turn the device back on. You'll see the alarm LED and all other LEDs flashing.
4. Power Off Again: Turn off the device once more.
5. Jumper Adjustment: Change the jumper configuration from pins 2 and 3 to pins 1 and 2.
6. Finished: Your Porpo YH-2000 is now set to the desired angular unit mode.

If you encounter any issues, you can press the reset switch on the back of the device to reinitialize it.
