If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers for spare part supplies as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

if there are no led lights at when the unit complete powers off you may need to replace the main board(input board) or have a skilled technician take voltage readings at the power supply board. check your power cord and the outlet you plug into as well.

Yes it is a powersupply board. The faulty caps can cause an Overload that is capable of damaging several other components in the circuit. You can find the part at stores like shopjimmy.com and partstore.com. If you can get me the part number off the board, I can find it for you myself.

It can be caused by many things such as cold solder joints, loose connections, failing components such as capacitors. Unplug it for about an hour tolet it reset itself to see if it will help, if not, you will have to open it and inpsect he inside, take the voltage reading before and after the problem.

Unplug it, it can be from MOV (used for surge suppressor), resistors, caps.

Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

The IR sensing should be at the circle in the middle on the bottom of the frame as shown in the picture.

I came here looking to find out how to program my direct TV remove without any luck. The codes that direct TV provided are 10047 and 11447 for proscan. What code does dish provide?

Press the menu button on your remote.  That should give you the main menu where you can go into add/delete channels and do an autoscan to only save channels that are good.

If you plug in the Video inserts the way they illustrate it, you get black and white with sound. If you are using RCA cables plug the yellow cable on CVBS and the white and red cables on the Video-L and Video-R.

it believe it is 720. I know it does not say anywhere. I found one website which sold this TV and it stated it was 720 resolution

If the input to a HD tv is not in HD format the tv won't display an image very well. Be sure your input to the tv is compatible with the tv's technology for optimum performance quality Also re-check the input source (such as converter box, dvd player, etc..) and be sure you have the correct input/output ports connected properly. Try to reset all yout tv settings back to manufacturers defult specs. When an input signal is sent to the tv most modern tv's have software built in to select the proper format to display the input image. There may have been a mismatch communication error when your tv software tried to "handshake" with your converter box input signals from its firmware. So try a reset solution and re-connect the tv without the converter and see if that helps. If not e-mail me and I'll determine if the tv needs technical servicing.

Did you make sure that the tv and converter box are on the same channel ?
