Open the PC Sync software that you installed through the Disc supplied with Phone.
A dialogue box will open on pc asking for synchronization options.
Choose synchronise contacts.

if u have WIN XP SP3 installed then no need to do anything to connect simply connect ur device it recognize it auto and u can sync ur device and copy files whatever u want

Once you connect to your PC, you will be asked if you want your phone to "Partner" with your PC. Usually you say yes.
That way you can share data between the two.
