Numeric pad on control panel: Problem: only
Most likely there is a problem with the keypad connector at the controller board. Usually these have a sliding collar that locks the keypad's flat flexible circuit material cable in place. Pull it up about 1 - 2 millimeters on both ends until it hits the stops (it doesn't take a lot of force, and it may even be loose already given what you describe). The cable should then pull out easily. Polish the contact stripes on the cable end with a white pencil eraser (the kind found on mechanical pencils), then wipe clean with a piece of tissue paper or clean dry cloth. Insert the cable back in the connector, and push the collar down so it is locked at both ends.
This is the most probable fix. It is possible that the connector is the problem; electrical contact cleaner may help. Other possible causes are a broken key-scan line* in the keypad, micro-controller chip failure, or a bad connection on the circuit board in the affected scan line.
*The keypad is wired schematically (if not physically) in rows and columns. The micro-controller activates a line in one direction, then scans all of the lines in the other direction to see which key if any has been pressed. 0,1 and 2 are on one of these lines, probably with several non-numeric keys; the remaining numbers are on another line (or two).

Model nn-n765 Was running
A wild guess: the scraping noise was a motor bearing seizing up (fan or turntable). A thermal cutout blew when something overheated. This would have taken several minutes to happen.
Alternate, and more likely explanation: the scraping noise was actually high-voltage arcing in a failed component, most probably the voltage doubler capacitor. This would blow the fuse. Replace both the capacitor and diode; the diode was probably overloaded and could fail at any time if it hasn't already. At $5-$10, it's cheap insurance against having to fix the thing twice.

DO NOT try to REPAIR this
Inverter Power Supply (U) and also DO NOT RE-ADJUST PRESET VOLUME on the board.
It is very dangerous to repair or adjust without sufficient test equipment
because this circuit handles very high voltage and very large current. Off
alignment or inverter board operation is dangerous. Operating a misaligned
inverter circuit is dangerous due to the very high voltage and current that is
produced by this board. Defective boards must be replaced with a new one.

May be a shorted metal stirrer fan bearing located within the wave guide that feeds microwaves into the cooking area. If the oven is run without a proper load (water, or food), the voltage of the microwaves increase considerably causing things to arc-over inside the wave guide. You usually can't see the stirrer bearing short as it occurs internally.

Microwave shuts off
I would suspect an inverter problem.
Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in these inverter-based models, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.
I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer. You can find one
here.

Most probably the low voltage transformer of in the control panel is open . It has a thermal fuse which is between pin1 and pin 5 of the low voltage transformer. This fuse is however inside the transformer. If you get a DC resistance of about 350- 400 ohms between pin 5 and 6 of the transormer , connect an external 500ma fuse between pin 1 and pin5

Microwave Panasonic NN T551 new does not start even after pressing clock button , no display to set clock . Icon comes only. As : after pressing stop button. No other button gives any response
It seems like you're experiencing an issue with your Panasonic microwave oven NNT551. If the clock button is not responding and you only see two dots when pressing the stop button, there might be a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
- Power Cycle the Microwave:
- Unplug the microwave from the power outlet.
- Wait for about 30 seconds.
- Plug it back in and try setting the clock again.
- Check for Child Lock:
- Some microwaves have a child lock feature that can prevent certain buttons from functioning. Check your manual to see if your model has this feature and how to disable it.
- Reset to Default Settings:
- If there is an option in the manual or settings to reset the microwave to its default settings, try doing that.
- Inspect for Physical Damage:
- Ensure there is no physical damage to the control panel or any other part of the microwave that may be affecting its functionality.

How do I cook an individual frozen pie in my Panasonic convection/grill/microwave
To cook an individual frozen pie in your Panasonic convection/grill/microwave, you can follow these steps:
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Remove the pie from its packaging and place it on a microwave-safe plate.
Place the plate in the center of the microwave and close the door.
Press the "Convection" button on your microwave and set the temperature to 375°F.
Set the timer for 25 minutes.
Press "Start" to begin cooking.
After 25 minutes, check if the pie is cooked by inserting a toothpick into the center of the pie. If it comes out clean, your pie is ready! If not, continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes until it is fully cooked. This is a general guide and there might be variance with your particular device.
