My compaq desktop computer and keyboard are messed

I think it's probably the keyboard layout. Try going to Start->Settings->Control Panel and double click on Regional and Language Options. Make sure the Regional Options tab is set to English. Then go to the Languages tab and click on Details button. Make sure that the Keyboard has US under it.

I have a Compaq Evo

Three beeps at POST (startup) may be caused by an issue with your video card. Check to make sure the video card is seated correctly. If you have another video card, you can try it to determine if the current video card is faulty.

I facing no display, but led glows in red what i8s

This issue can be caused by any of the below possibilities.
1.Monitor is not on
3.Connections not connected properly.
3.Hardware issue.
Make sure the monitor is on. If no power light (green or orange light) is seen on the monitor display try pressing the power button until it comes on. If no light comes on after several attempts continue to below connections not connected properly
Make sure that you are connecting the monitor to the back of the computer in the 15-pin connector as shown to the right or older computer 9-pin connection.
If the computer is properly plugged in, make sure it's getting getting power.
Hardware Issue
If you have followed the above recommendations and are still encountering the same issue, it is likely that the computer may have either a bad video card or monitor. The best method of determining this is to do one or both of the following:
Disconnect your monitor and attempt to connect it to another computer. This can be a friend or family's computer and/or it can be taken to a service center.
Borrow a computer monitor and connect it to your computer. This will not harm the other computer monitor in any way.
If your monitor works on another computer it is safe to assume that the video card or potentially the motherboard within the computer is bad. Steps in troubleshooting a video card can be found on document CH001028.

Replaced the power supply now put power onto the

There seems to be a faulty connection somewhere, make sure the power supply has a connecter for your motherboard to give it some power. It all depends on the type of power supply you have aswell and the motherboard you are using , If your power supply does not have a connector for your system fan port on your mainboard then you should either change your motherboard or your power supply, If you refereing to a System chassis fan the see if you can try to connect it directly to one of the molex connectors on your power supply.

Please Help Me.............................

Hi,

Doesn't really make a difference whether new or used your machines. What matters is the preventive measures as well as the regular maintenance required to keep it running at top condition.

There are several methods of maintaining an efficient PC meaning to keep it running as fast as it originally was when you got them. Before I can make any suggestion, please add some more information by replying to the queries below:
1. What is the Operating System of the computers?
2. Are the machines tied to a local networking?
3. Do you have access to Internet and in what manner are you connected?
4. Do you have any anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-malware running?
5. Do you have a user account other than the Administrator for each PC?
6. For what purpose are the PCs used (gaming, office application, internet surfing)?
7. What other devices are attached (brand/model/capacity of video card, CD drives, bluetooth, infrared, webcam etc) to the machines?
8. Are you using some sort of a Cafe Manager program?
9. Do you have a dedicated server other than the 17 units?
10. What software utilities are you using (Norton, System Mechanic, TweakUI, Registry Cleaner)?
11. What other programs are running constantly (Chika, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, etc)?

Soon and upon receipt of your reply, we can start figuring out corrective measures and other actions your onsite technician can perform to prevent future slowdown and maintain efficiency.

Good luck and kind regards.

Manufacturer of Compaq Evo Motherboard

open it up and the mother board manufacturer will be printed on the board any mother board can be used as a replacement and if it needs replacing update it so that a later chip can be used it is cheaper to replace the mother board , power supply , memory, chip than to buy a new computer and hard drives are now solid state and do not have any spinning bits to fail talk with a computer repair shop and get ideas as to how to proceed you will probably find that with a rebuild you will save at least 25% off the price of a new store model pc and get a better unit to boot

If you replaced the CMOS battery, you need to go into the BIOS settings and make sure that the date and time are correct and all the settings are ok. There should be an option to restore default settings. Save and exit. Then try again. Make sure that the boot order is set correctly too.
