I'm guessing. you are watching the freeview.... if it is then there is a setting in the free view setting to sync sound and picture. find that it should be set a ( 0 ). sometimes just doing a system rest will sort it out. On the freeview setting.

When liquid drips onto the x buffer boards (located along the bottom edge of the display panel ) the liquid Will damage the ribbon cables that are connected to the display panel. Lightning damage can do a # on LCD TV's. I've seen cases where it took out power supplies and main boards at the same time. I'm not one who likes to use the "shot gun" approach.
