Printer flap is closed but printer says it's not

Open up the door on the printer again. Let the printer carriage (contains the printer ink cartridges) move to the center position. Now you can usually slide the carriage back to the starting position manually. Turn off the printer and allow it to rest. You probably did not harm the printer, but the original starting position was interrupted and needs to be rest. Don't be worried about the sounds, it is only the transfer ribbon making that sound.

My lexmark printer wont connect with my computer

Lexmark provides a line of wireless printers and sometime printer won't print with wireless...so here is what you may have to do in order to get this fixed 1.make sure your wireless password is right 2. uninstall the printer software and reinstall it once again ( make sure you configure the router with wireless router) for more assistance contact with Lexmark Printer Tech Support 3. 3. now type the right password and try to print it i hope this may help you.. thanks

Its not photocopying

It's no longer an All-In-One, but is now a Some-In-One. It's the built-in spyware (Lexmark has this) that has disabled this function.

Lexmark x1195 problem :

are inks were brand new?

try reseating the inks - remove then insert it back
power cycle the printer - restart the printer
check the inks if it has clog on nozzles and contacts
check the inks position if there are ink spills
clean the heads
check the ink levels if they were low or has warning

Solution

If you cannot print from the PC, please perform the steps below to troubleshoot the issue quickly.


1. Quickly verify that your Lexmark All-In-One or printer is not malfunctioning:
- Are there blinking LEDs?
- Is anything besides the normal readout visible on the LCD display?
- Can you make a standalone copy?


2. Open WordPad and type a few characters. Then choose Print from the File menu (do NOT click on the print icon in the toolbar). The following dialog appears:

This dialog provides the following information about the status of the printer and its settings:



* The Select Printer area contains the names of all the printers in the Printers folder.

* The name of the printer that is set as the default. (In Windows XP or 2000, you can select another printer, right-click on it, and set it as the new default.)

* If you have more that one print object for the printer (such as X8350 copy 1, copy 3, ...), these will also be shown.

* The printer status: offline, paused, etc.
You can also right-click on the printer and select Open to see if there are any print jobs in the queue that need to be purged.

Lexmark X1195 seems not to work on Windows Vista;

Hi. Try uninstalling the Lexmark
software for a fresh start. To
uninstall it properly, go to Start
Menu > Programs > Lexmark folder > Uninstall. Reboot pc. Check if your computer is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by going to Start Menu > right click on Computer > Properties. Download the software on the Lexmark website. Click on this link. http://bit.ly/aUjOD3 . Click on Downloads tab right at the center of the page. Download cjrX1100EN.exe for 32-bit or cjsX1100EN.exe for 64-bit operating system. Run the software. Hope this helps.
