Aiwa TV MODEL No. TV-A149 AGING

I have Aiwa TV MODEL No. TV-A149
The problem that I am suddenly facing is that I can't change channels or volume or use any other function. I can't even turn it off with remote control.

Its stuck randomly on a particular channel that I was watching at that point of time.

Along with that channel it now shows a message in flashing red color that reads :-
AGING
6EDEH

Now when I press ''Display'' button on remote control volume goes off and this code is shown :-
S123 K234 Y
100 000 0

The numbers in the second line can be navigated by ''CH+'' button and changed between 0 and 1 by ''Vol+'' button.

I really don't know anything about this. So, please help me out of this problem.

Rainbow screen aiwa tv,, screen shows

Picture tube is magnetized. Manual degausing is required. already you have done this.

Since you say it is reappearing, you have to check the following.

1. Relocate the TV or relocate if you have placed any tower speakers
or home theater speakers close-by.

2. Check whether auto degauss functioning OK. In the MENU
check whether you switched off auto degauss option. If it is OFF
enable it to ON.

3. Finally re orient the direction of your TV and watch the rainbow
effect. Switch OFF TV, wait for 20 mts, and again switch ON.
Repeat the process. It should disappear.

Magnetic toys or any other devises using magnet will cause this problem.

Need to find code for

Hello
Aiwa TV is not lited on Jumbo Universal Remote codes. Anyway try out with these codes. Sometimes may help you.

Three digit codes for Aiwa TV with universal remote are:
195/ 196

Four digit codes for Aiwa TV with universal remote are:
0195 0196 0227 0269

Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
Code Search If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

NOTE: Switch OFF and switch ON your TV with its FRONT PANEL POWER ON-OFF SWITCH each time before trying an other code.
OK

No power, power supply not

Hello
If power supply is not coming inside your tv, the fuse inside it may blown out. There may be some resons for that. Sometimes it may be to a overvoltage problem. Otherwise due to an overload problem. Sometimes inner components may got shorted, especially mains retifier diodes may be leaked. If this is the condition, you must retify that problem first before replacing the the fuse. A multimeter is needed to check this; and to check for all faults.
Never replace the fuse assuming that the fuse only is blown out. Please understand that there may be a reason for that. If you do so, so many other components in your TV also will get damaged.
As your TV is in "dead" condition; we say this condition thus, we can't predict the exact fault point or assume the suspected fault point in your TV. It is best for you to get a technician at service. Please don't spoil your TV by doing self repair; unless you are fully aware of it schematic diagram. Aiwa TV uses some special components of their own, which cannot be bought from local market. Get it serviced by any experienced service technicians, or send to the authorised service center nearby for repair. Ok.
