My refrigerator don't start. i

Hello there
First, check to see if the light comes on or if there is any fan, motor, or other sound coming from the appliance? If so, the refrigerator isn't really completely stopped--go to the specific problem you are having. If not, try adjusting the thermostat to a colder setting. If that doesn't work, read on. Second, . If there is power to the appliance but it still seems to be stopped, there may be a problem in one or more of these: Wiring Thermostat Defrost timer Compressor Overload and/or relay
so if you can get each one of these checked out

Water collecting in bottom of refrigerator

Hello,

A little bit of water collecting in the crisper area of your refrigerator is actually normal. This area is designed to retain moisture to help keep your produce fresh. If you have a problem with excess moisture, you may want to wrap or cover the produce and veggies.

If the amount of moisture is too excessive, you will want to check any drainage tubes in the vicinity for blockage. Examine the seal around the door to verify that it is making contact all the way around.

A bad seal or an open door will allow the usually more humid room air to condense inside the refrigerator. If you have ever opened the refrigerator door for more than a few seconds on a hot, humid day, you know what we mean. You can almost see the moisture condensing on the cold foods inside.

Also, refrigerators with a defrost cycle drain the melted water from the evaporator coils through a tube or a hole into a drip pan underneath the refrigerator. The water usually evaporates, but most times the pan is removable and can be drained. If this path of water is blocked at any point because the drain hole or tube is crimped or clotted with anything, it will back up inside the refrigerator area and try to find a way out, usually under the crisper drawers.

To fix this, clear the obstruction in the drain tube. The drain pan at the bottom of the refrigerator can overflow or get old, crack, and develop a leak. Other times, mold can grow in the drain tube and clog it.

Most refrigerators have an ice and/or water system built into them. This means that you have a waterline attached to the back of your refrigerator and it comes out as ice or cold water. Anywhere that water travels through the refrigerator and freezer can turn into a leak. To find the leak, you need to follow the tubes that carry the water through the appliance and make sure that all connections are tight.

Leaking containers or spills in the refrigerator can be misdiagnosed as leaks. First make sure that there are no puddles of juice, milk, water, etc. on one of the large capacity shelves.

I wish you good luck.

Will not defrost . Is it a continuous run, 8 hour

Good day,
It's an 8 hour cumulative running time control. It runs when the compressor runs, and as well the defrost thermostat in the freezer compartment is closed. That's for the running mode, in the defrost mode it runs whether the defrost thermostat is open or closed, and as well whether the thermostat is on or off.
If it's a defrosting problem, it could well be the defrost thermostat, and in rare cases the main heater. They are both located behind the rear panel in the freezer compartment.
In order of frequency of failing,
1. Defrost thermostat
2. Timer
3. Main heater
4. Harness wiring plugs in the freezer compartment that connect these items.

I am getting liquid driping inside refrigerator

the defrost drain is probably plugged or frozen shut. turn off refrig and let sit open for a day and it should thaw the drain. otherwise remove the evaporator panel and manually defrost the drain. I use hot water and a turkey baster.

Water dripping from freezer into refrigerator

Just fixed my refrigerator last week that was doing the same thing. Water was dripping from the back top of the refrigerator and it was the drainage line in the freezer had frozen up and was plugged. Emptied the freezer and removed the bottom panel from the freezer and found large layer of ice. Turned freezer off and let everything melt. Then the hole in the back bottom of the freezer on the metal tray became visable. Contined to thaw until warm water would drain into the tray under the freezer. Was not hard at all and much better not cleaning up the water dripping all the time.
