Hi,

If a program is failing and you want to disable DEP to see if that is the cause. Here are the steps. (Just disable DEP for the program in question… don’t disable it for your whole system.)

1. Click Start
2. Select Control Panel
3. Select System
4. Click the Advanced tab
5. In the Performance region select Settings
6. Click the Data Execute tab in the dialog box that opens
7. Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for those I select
8. Click Add.
9. The open dialog box will open. Browse and select your application.
10. Click Open
11. Click Apply
12. Click Ok
13. Reboot

Go to the manufacturers website. They keep all of the drivers ready for download. You will need your computer make and model number.

You must use the camera mate disk video disk and have it installed because the disk has the drivers on it!

Well, I actually figured out what was wrong with mine.  It was actually my hard drive which was causing the reboot. It was still under warranty, so I had it replaced.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. That device has the capacity of about 700 Mbs. The fiber cable wont come all the way into your house. There is a point called Dmark that it stops and changes over to conventional wire. That device will work fine.

The backlight driver could be going bad. The ballast control board most likely is the culprit.

You need a mains adapterthat has Input 100-240V Output 19V - 3.24A and the input plug that fits into the power socket of your laptop. It does not need to be from ASUS.

Google search the Internet for a suitable power adapter, make sure the output voltage is the same and the amps is 3.24 or higher.
