When I try to print, the computer and printer operate as they always have, but the page comes through blank. The message I get is "Right hand cartridge incorrect." The right hand cartridge is the color cartridge is the color cartridge and it is still at least half full. It is not just that it doesn't print in color, it doesn't print anything at all.

I installed a remanufactured color cartridge and now my prints are all in magenta. The realignment page is not black and blue, but magenta and black and misses most of its print. Never had a problem with cartridges ordered directly from DELL, tried to save money and pay "only" $26.00 instead of over $30.00 plus shipping, now I'm at the end of my ropes.... I have removed the sticker and tape, took both, black and color cartridges out and back in, restarted computer, wasted tons of ink and paper in cleaning and realigning, still only printing in pretty pink... that's it! Anybody know what to do??? Please help, before I throw that printer out the window!!!! Eva :O

When I turn on my Dell 922 printer the ink carridge jumps back and forth once violently then I get an error 1200, remove obstruction, cycle power. I tried this and still does same thing. I took new ink cartridges out and put back in--still same thing. Any idea? It is out of warranty and I don't want to spend $39 for an answer--I'll just buy a new printer--maybe HP this time because buying ink online with DELL is a pain in the bootie.

The warning light blinks red by the power button. says "Right Cartridge incorrect. I went to HELP with my printer, and the cartridges; it says "facing the printer, place the color cartridge in the left space, and the black cartridge in the right space, ....ok, but the cartridge holders are color coordinated with the colors on the ink cartridges. So, I switch them around, and they do not fit (color in left holder, and blk in right holder). WHAT NOW? It acts like it's printing,and goes through the motions, but nothing is there, blank paper.

My printer has never had a problem....
But today it started prinitng over my documents a horizontal black lines about a 1/4" in diameter.
Any suggestion????

I cannot locate the All in One Center under Programs/Dell Printers. All that is there is the Order Ink, the Solution Center and the Users Guide. I can print but cannot scan.

I downloaded a new driver and have rebooted,etc. I have Windows XP.

I cannot find a place in the print properties to print with black ink only. I don't want to print in black from the color cartridge, I want to use the black cartridge only. My other problem is that it was showing the black cartridge as being full and the color as being low. But the black would not print and only the color would print. I changed to a new black cartridge and it now prints black fine, but give me a warning that my black cartridge is now below the minimum necessary. Should I ignore the warning or will it shut down and not print.
