Press the printer button, it will tell you on the screen what the problem is. Generally it is because your computer is telling the printer that it wants to print on a size paper that you don't have loaded in the machine.

Folder must be fully shared, (full control for everyone.) create a user name and password that has admin priviledges. Enter this info in Config>File transfer>SMB.
Enter the path to the folder in the address book, in this manner> \\name of computer folder is on\name of directory\name of folder.
I have a ricoh 1515 and can not get scan to file to work
You need to tell the machine it has a delivery server, this can be done by selecting user tools/system settings/file transfer/delivery option/On. After doing this you may have to remove and readd the I/O device from within scanrouter.

I have not been able to find any information on resetting the MP 2000s to eliminate the administrator password. However, have you tried logging into the printer via web access and using the default administrator name/password? Type the printer's IP address into your browser's address bar, and when the Web Access page appears, click Configuration leave the User Name blank and enter

for the password
If you gain access, you should be able to chance any other settings via that interface
If passwords are interfering with being able to use the basic machine functions, you may be able to use the control panel on the printer itself to access the Administrator Tools, and turn off the authentication requirements for those functions.
Last, if nothing else works, and there is any phone number or contact info on the printer anywhere...though I hate to subject you to being on hold for hours...try calling it.
I'm probably not thinking of something simple - like a handy reset button on the machine somewhere - but if anything else comes to light, I'll update this.
Device does not recognize delivery server
this device does not support scan router v2 lite.
your best bet would be to set up using SMB scan to folder.
set up is pretty straight forward create a folder on the root of C: ie C:scans
share the folder with full permissions, simple file sharing has to be turned off!!
then go into the device web page using the IP address ie: 192.168.xxx.xxx.
go to configuration and smb create a user name ie: bill then point the device to the computer you created the folder on, ie: bill's pc/c:scans
save the configuration log out of the web utility reboot the device and you should have succesfully created an smb folder share.
