If the unit was working properly before it was cleaned than there is a possibility that the keypad or control board has been contaminated while cleaning. Common household cleaning products are conductive if they come in contact with an electrical circuit. Unplug unit and let dry for 24 hours. If this doesn't work than contamination of keypad may have ruined it.
