TV is connected via coaxial cable to Dish setup. Picture snowy.

This is a classic symptom of a poor signal.

Remote

If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its user manual. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. If you see the site by "MOSAIC" view, will make surf easier. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/

1. Hold down MENU on the remote and VOLUME DOWN on the TV it's self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked 2. Hold down the 0 on the remote and the VOLUME DOWN buttons on the TV its self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked 3. Hold down the MENU button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. 4. Hold down GO BACK on the remote and MENU on the front of the TV at the same time for at least 4 seconds. 5. Can't get my VCR to work

FIRST!!! Make sure you have the coax or AV cables plugged into jacks marked out on the machine.....then....

*If you have it hooked up with a Coax cable, you should immediately have picture and sound when you turn it on. Make sure you have a dvd/vhs running and switch between channel 3 and 4. if this doesn't work, make sure that you have the cable connected to the one marked 'in' or 'cable in' or 'ant in'. then retry the previous steps.

*If you have it hooked up through A/V cables (Red/Yellow/White), make sure you have them all connected to the same set of jacks. They should be labeled Aux 1 or something similar and are generally surrounded by a box molded into the TV's plastic casing. You will then have to use the TV remote to switch TV/Video settings until you get to the one that matches the Aux jacks you have it plugged into. Again...make sure a dvd or vhs is running and keep flipping until you find a picture.

Hope this helps!!!

Can I get higher digital cable channels?

The model indicated here does not have a "digital" tuner so if using an antenna you would need a box for the digital channels---in general non digital sets will not receive digital channels on their own.

Old TV

I can assume the input for your tv has only a coax input to it. Meaning a threaded connector on the back. If so, first connect the Wii to the input of the dvd player, second, from the output of the dvd player, this is where your solution is needed. run a coax cable from the tv to the DVD player and at the dvd player you will need an adapter from your local Radio Shack or electronics store. It should be a female coax to RCA adapter (male Red White and Yellow).Red and white for audio and yellow for video. Post a pic of the back of the tv if this doesnt solve it for you. Good luck, fingers crossed.

Tv shut down replaced burnt fuse but burns again when plug into power supply. what should I do my mom is in her seventies and missing her programs...

i would replace the fuse again and try a different outlet to rule out an electrical problem with that particular outlet. if it blows the fuse in a different outlet it's probably time to retire that TV set it's hard to find anyone to work on them anymore because they've become obsolete due to the flat screens.
