Which is it 9860 or 9800? (No web search hits for the 9800).

The RCA jacks on any amp so-equipped are for any external Line Level source like a tuner.
In any 'connection' question there are at least two participants and specific answers require specific details about all joined equipment.
Type carefully if you want good answers.

The IC may be available through a source like Digikey if it is not propprietary to the amplifier.If it is proprietary to the amplifier, a site like encompassparts.com may have it.Otherwise you may need to search on Ebay for the part(s).

2 channel power amp
you will need additional equipment for this beast to work right.
1. you need a pre-amp, all audio connections go into the preamp which control sorces, volm, bass and treble.
2. out from the preamp into the power amp and out to your speakers
3. you can freak it if you have an 1/8" stereo to RCA stereo plug in this caee you can play your ipod, phone or mp3 player thru this amp using your input device (ipod, phone or mp3 player ) like a preamp to control volm, bass and treble.

I assume you don't mean the mains lead. I think it's most likely a power lead for a turntable or something of that kind. If the plug has two pins on it, it could be what's known as a "USA Plug".
I have an amp. It shows no light but I can hear it
check all fuses. Sounds like the power supply might be working, at least the transformer which you hear. Try fuses first then that's all you can do, unless you are a tech. You might have to remove the cover to see the fuses, and then again some fuses might not be a glass type. For you, only look for glass fuses. Make dang sure there is no power plugged in when you do this. A visual check for you is enough, as to explain how to use a meter would just be confusing. If you find a blown fuse ( the center wire is broke inside the glass) then take it out if it isn't soldered and make sure you get an exact match. After you replace it, if it blows again or still doesn't work then you need tech help. find a ham operator with techno skills, or take to a shop.

your best bet is to contact Sharp directly over the net, if not try googling the model# , there would be one out there somewhere, Ebay is also a good option, there are tonnes of service manuals on there for different electonic items, especially audio gear
No output from main outputs
apply a spray contact cleaner in headphone socket(the place where you put your headphone jack)-and insert the jack in and out many times because it maybe problem inside-check your speaker cable for good condition.and firmly connected.
