Copied from Nikon's Service & Support Page: Having a "Lens error" message display on the camera's LCD display indicates a problem with the camera lens mechanism. This situation generally requires that the camera be sent to a Nikon Service Department for repair. Before doing this however, be sure to check these situations below:

1. One possible reason for this error is if the camera is switched on and the lens unit is prevented from extending. The camera will struggle for a second to extend the lens, then report the problem. Inspect the lens for any obvious obstruction, then turn the camera off, then on again. Usually, simply switching the camera Off then On again is enough to correct this problem.
2. Remove and recharge the battery. Retest.

If this does not help, then we regret the camera must be sent to our Nikon Service department as there are no user serviceable parts on Nikon Coolpix cameras. try to reset cam to factory default - try again if not helping looks like your lens broken (if you didnt let it drop) warranty ?

There is a ring on the back of your camera toggle it up or down I think you information is on if not turn your camera off then turn it back on take the lens cap off take another picture problem solved

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. U need to download nikon wmu software from google playstore or appstore. Then start wifi of ur camera and then start wifi connection in ur mobile.select "nikon p600" in wifi setup.when connected, start application named "wmu" in ur mobile.wait for the connection.after few seconds wifi connection will be established.hope this would help u!

At the Time the Camera was made , Nikon lists a number of compatible memory cards. Each year both cameras and cards can read and write data faster. Cheap cards today can be read much faster than written. If any camera can take many photos in a short time, a slow cad will not allow the camera to operate as intended.

Some Modes, Like FIREWORK will not allow Flash. Check your MODE

Go to Nikon.com and search for your camera and then look for Memory cards that are compatible

It flashes green when it is basically on but in a sub mode that I'll call CHARGE MODE. If it is flashing that means the battery is charging. I suggest to let it continue to charge until it stops flashing and then remove the charger connection. When the camera is sitting all by itself with nothing connected you can then turn it on.
