your TV is in shutdown mode due to a short. most likely the convergence chips.
Part # STK-392-150 there are two of them...they are difficult to get to, but inexpensive, about $15 each.
if you are technically inclined you can do it yourself, other wise call a servicer, which will cost you in the $350 range.

It is probably your horitzontaltransistor that is shorted and it will have to be replace and it is located need the fly back transformer, on a metal heat sink, and to have it repair you are looking at around 400.

sounds like the internal starter switch is no good

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Toshiba 55H70 55" Take the back off and pull the HV power board and check all the solder joints, seem to me that you has a cold solder joint. check it out be carefull with high voltages.

hello am rico, you need to replace your convergence ics (stk392 or 393 something esle). check for caps,fuses, resistors, cold solder in the boards. if you need more help, feel free to call at anytime. 602-810-7149.

I would check the fuse on the main board. Check the Capacitors on the Power Supply board. Seeing that you unplugged it and replugged it in you might have bad caps that were weak to begin with. Please learn how to safely work on a TV before attempting . Even when a tv is unplugged it has enough power to kill you. Discharge all Capacitors first. make sure its unplugged of course.

Hi,
You need to taken out front panel and slide the lens backward to do so. This is quite fragile job and you should take extreme care. If your no so confident, I suggested to has it done at shop.

hello, the reason for this is down to the convergance ic at the back of the tv, 2 big black chips sit on a metal frame called a heatsink they are usually located behind the tuner board, also you will have to test the resistors and the 2 capacitors at either end hope you can get it repaired

You need to do a convergence on your TV please watch this video for instructions.

The problems ur tv have is known as a convergence problems,it dead.The tv colors lines R,G,B mis alignment,have colors shadows pictures or 3D pictures look like.The tv convergence board have dead 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead.These parts on the tv convergence board,must be replaced these parts on the tv convergence board to solved the tv picture convergence problems.The shop,will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.

Sounds like possibly cold solder connections on the convergence IC's I believe there are 3 in your tv. They are easy to spot big black IC's that have STK392-xxx stamped on them.. If your lucky you can solder the connections and be back in business. Sometimes because of the bad connections left unrepaired it will cause the ic's to fail then they would need replacing. If you have soldering skills you might try yourself. Be careful and make sure its unplugged. If you arent skilled at soldering I wouldnt recommend even trying it.
