The Redi Remote has 35 buttons under a front sliding cover. The programming functions are under the sliding cover.

On this unit there is no manual tracking button - it's done automatically by a special circuit that uses the special signal from the tracks themselves. If the tracking is bad then the heads are dirty and they don't pick that special signal.
Clean them with a special cleaning tape. If you can't source one the unit will have to be dismantled and the 4 heads will have to be manually cleaned with a q-tip moist with alcohol.

First, you should see "Track" button on the VHS or VHS Remote, press the track severally still sound comes on. But if sound does not come on, you can follow th There are two connection method you can use to connect our VHS to TV. 1. is RF wire and 2. is RCA (Yellow & White/Red).
Using the RF, Check the back of your VHS, you will see "RF Out", connect the RF wire to that part and the other to "RF IN" of the TV. Then search your TV and there should be a display and sound.
Using the RCA, Check the back of the VHS, you will see Video OUT and AUDIO OUT, connect the RCA wire there and the other part to IN of the, then press AV on the TV remote.

With a MODEL number I can find them easily with just 'make model manual'.

No you can't the Insignia remote is for that model television only. Companies don't make their remotes so they operate other makes of televisions. Buy a Copy Remote for the Toshiba

Same issue here. I kept plugging in the TV and it would flash the logo and go black. I disconnected the LED line from the power board, plugged the TV back in and the LED's all lite up and got great picture. Turned it off and on a few times with the power switch with no problem. Left it alone about an hour, came back, got the same symptoms all over again, Flash then nothing.
I changed out the Power Supply board....same issue, Flash of logo and black screen. Probably going to heave ho the set.
