I only can record one hour with my recorder and not more while i installed a memory sick either why ??? why i cant record more ? it always warn me withe the lake of memory

I think that you have to select to record on the additional memory card. Ihave anOlympus VP670 that has 8gb of ram and has 5 folders. I can choose to record to any of them. I added a 32gb sd card but 5 more folders have appeared seperate from the others. In order to record in those folders I have to select the option on my menu screen. Your machine is probably similar. Check the documentation that came with it

Here are some recovery software you may rely on. Both programs can recover photos, videos and audio.

Photo Video Audio Recovery Software (for Windows)
Mac Photo Video Audio Recovery Software (for Mac OS X)

Be careful: Before your items are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the device in case the original files(your audios) are overwritten.

Sony IC recorder ICD-MX20 used

Sony offers a download of its Digital Voice Editor 3 which will probably resolve your problems: http://esupport.sony.com/LA/perl/swu-download.pl

Other comment to fix this problem, download the file http://download.scansoft.com/naturallyspeaking/10/... and put it into folder C:\Program Files\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking10\Program

Apparently Nuance left out this file in the 10.1 version;

I double checked all versions of DNS 10.1 (Preferred, Medical, Legal, and Professional) and Natlink.exe is present in all of them. The only version that is missing it is Standard because standard does not support DVR's or transcription.

In addition, if you look at the properties for Natlink.exe from the download site, you get the following:

File description NatLink module
Type Application
File version 10.10.0.121
Product name Dragon NaturallySpeaking
Product version 10.10.000.121
Copyright Copyright 19912009 Nuance Comm...
Size 49.3 KB
Date modified 6/ 3/ 2010 7:01 a.m.
Language Language Neutral
Legal trademarks Nuance, the Nuance Logo, ScanSoft, ...
Original filename natlink

Take a look at the file version number. It's 10.1.

Skip, delete the downloaded file and try again. It downloads properly. It just may not have downloaded correctly the first time for you and whenever your system does this, trying to download and overwrite often doesn't work.

How do i turn off my icd-p620?

Hello.

Unfortunately, that unit does not have a power On/Off switch. The display is shown at all times. Note that when the Hold switch is activated, the display will turn off after a few seconds and all keys will be locked, but the unit will still stay turned on.

Hope this helps.

Syncing Sony ICD-MX20 with Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 on Vista

the workaround seems to be

buy an Olympus recorder (supposedly they issued a patch for DNS 10 in a couple of days)

or

tell DNS that the source is a PDA generating WAV, MP3, etc.

havn't tried this myself yet. some say it it isn't that awful. But I too am very dissappointed.

Is it possible to splice 2 msv files (one after

OK well in that case you could convert them to WAV and join that and play it that way? Download and install the Switch Audio Converter. Switch can convert between numerous audio file types and has the capability of reading MSV files.
Add the MSV file you would like to convert to the Switch converter. Click on "Add File(s)" and browse for the file in the search window that comes up. When you locate the file, click "Open" to import it to the converter.
Select WAV as your output file type. The .wav extension is one of the options in the "Output Format" drop-down menu at the bottom-left corner of the Switch screen. Choose an output folder for your WAV file. To find a folder, click "Browse" next to the "Output folder" box. Locate the folder where you would like to save the WAV file on your hard drive and click "OK."

Click "Convert" to begin the conversion process. The "Convert" button is in the bottom-right corner of the screen. When you click "Convert," a small window with a progress bar will pop up to monitor the status, and a pop-up message will inform you when the conversion is complete. The WAV file will now be available in your chosen output folder. http://www.softplatz.com/freeware/wav-joiner/
