try power cycle by removing the power of the router for one minute then plug it again. check the cable if all of it tightly connected to the specified port if it is a modem router it should have a 3 cable connected to it Phone line, Ethernet cable and the power adapter. the Ethernet cable should be connect to the back of your tower( computer). check you phone for a dial tone. check the light in the router like dsl , ethernet ,internet and activity. all of these must have a light.

have you got two dhcp servers running ? turn off dhcp server in wireless router and use the one in the Thomson TWG850-4 Residential Voice Gateway. make sure ip address in wireless router is different to the Thomson TWG850-4 Residential Voice Gateway. make it one higher on last digit of ip address make sure dhcp does not lease out this ip address.

Multiple users will slow each user down. Think of people filling glasses from the same water faucet. The faucet can only put out so much water. More users...less water per user. Same for router data flow. In your case, it could be too many users in your office or many users on the main feed line coming into your building Check with your internet provider. They can send a tech to measure data speed and identify what is causing your issues.

The laptop may not support 5ghz. Go to Device Manager and get the wireless network adapter name, so you can check online to verify if it supports 5ghz... R click win logo bottom left of desktop. L click device manager. Find and expand Network adapters.

You need to reset your TP-Link. Before resetting it, you must know your subscription username and password from otherwise you will lose your internet.

Hi, So sorry to hear that. Your router has broken (brick) and you couldn't repair it without proper tools and knowledge. One way to solve this problem is to replace your router chip eprom.

you only have to setup the TP link on your computer then turn on your hotspot on your phone (remember the password) then go back to your computer down by the clock right hand side bottom you will see a wireless symbol a series of curved lines click on those locate your phone click on that & put in the password

Hi, I have to assume you are referring to TP-Link power line adapters. In any event, pick the one that is not working. Press and hold the Pair button for a second or so, the Power LED will start flashing. Wait 2 minutes, then press and hold the Pair button of your main (other) TP-Link for 1 second, the Power LED will start flashing. In about 2 minutes all should be good. If not you may have to reload the flash software or use the disks to reset. Cheers
