What service company do you have for your TV? Is it dish network or direct tv etc. You can do a channel scan once you verify the service company. A cable service provider will only provide 99 channel to scan/sort while a satellite service provider will provide you more channels to sort/scan.

Your TV power supply board is damage and will soon cause your TV to not power on. Yes, cleaning the fan will only temporary fix the situation but eventually you will need to fix the power supply board. You can order one on ebay or amazon but make sure to have the correct serial/model number on the back of the TV before ordering and fixing it yourself. However, if you are not sure then have a certified tech to come see it.

have you tried jvc?
usually only certified service centers can get the parts through an account
or try an electronic parts supply store that might deal with them, though I have not found that they get stuff like that just the components

To start with pull out the power plug for tv from out of the wall socket and plug it in after about half hour,then turn on the tv let me know what it did.if no changes let me know then we will go through the problem technically.

try wash out feture on samsung for 30 sec white out see what happends also upgrade your firmware for these via thumb drive ok
