Westpoint TV-258 Microwave Oven Questions & Answers
Hi I have a LG MG 583MC microwave,
We have a sound clip of
what a microwave should sound like when the cooling fan and high
voltage section are operating here.If it's quieter than usual, it's probably a control issue, such as a bad door switch or mount, or a problem on the control circuit board. If it's louder than usual or sounds the same, it's probably a fault in the high voltage section, such as the magnetron, transformer or diode.Unless it is a convection type or is otherwise special, the average over the counter microwave is generally not economical to repair when high voltage parts or servicer help is needed.

I need microwave oven with temperature control
Microwave oven for checking stability of paints is not recommended as it would lead to explosion because paints are flammable. What you need is convection oven with fine adjustment. There are industrial ovens available for such purpose.

Need manual for microwave R-250A(G)M
Most major manufacturers supply manuals
online so if you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, you
may be pleasantly surprised as usually, if available, one is able to
download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, Dealer
Network for spare part supplies as
required.
The information is normally free of
charge.
I hope this helps.
My microwace is out of
Dead appliance, power on wall outlet.
YOUR
SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!
Attempt
this only if you are competent.
If
your appliance has absolutely no functions at all, remove it from the
mains supply, remove the case and see where the mains lead goes in to
the appliance and follow the cable until you find the main fuse.
ONLY
USE THE SAME TYPE AND RATING OF FUSE TO REPLACE IT.
The usual
cause of this fuse failure is the door switches are contaminated or
sticking. Check the door switches before putting power back on to the
appliance.
Hope this helps.

Failed to heat food
I'd say it's a loose connection at the magnetron, a bad magnetron, or a bad high voltage diode.
If it's less than 30 days old, I'd contact the dealer to exchange it for a new unit or a refund.
If it's over 30 days, but less than the full warranty period, I'd contact the manufacturer (see the owner's manual) to get in touch with your nearest local authorized servicer.

Turning motor failing
It could be the motor failing (gears jamming due to internal damage or bad grease, perhaps) or the turntable coupler or support may have gotten warped due to heat.
One test is to gently but firmly grab the coupler or turntable support and try to turn the motor. A good motor will offer resistance and "whirr" as you turn it. A bad motor will grind or click, etc.
I would call Westpoint (see your owner's manual) and they can tell you if the parts are available and what they'd cost.
Other listings seems to indicate this is an 800W microwave.
And I would bet that parts may not be easily available.
The turntable can usually be replaced from the bottom without taking the wrapper off.
Once you've found out about parts availability, feel free to drop by my site (see my profile) to get my microwave safety and disassembly texts.
