I plugged my 110v led tv into a 220v hdmi and now my display will not work

If the problem is same with different input devices and you have ensured the are no loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable and sockets, the TV needs servicing.

My tv set automatic video/picture will disappear after 5 min but sounds remain. i off the tv set then on again but after 5 min it dis appear again pls help tnx a lot

you lose brightness but sound remains?I see so many here with no sound/nopicture issues:ISSUES: 1. IF sound main fuse/s are good.2. If no power or standby check main fuse, standby power supply and any signsof damage you can see---burnt parts etc.3. almost all these sets the troubleshooting involves checking voltages on the main power board to narrow down theproblem.4. Be safe and if you do not know what you are doing don't open the set.Answers to issues:1. RE:fuses---if a blown fuse is found get a good replacement(not the genericones like Radio Shack). Many fuses are special even aside from amperage--Don'tput a higher rated amperage fuse in the set for any reason.2. RE: power supply in set: if total dead aside from main fuse the set uses astandby power supply that runs 7/24 and a main supply (some are combined andsome not. Here aside from checking fuses you want to examine all the filter caps on thepower/standby to see if any are puffed up or buldged up in some fashion--Iattach a photo of a good one---top should be silver metal and PERFECTLY flatand have no brown material coming out on top or bottom. What happens in the standby area is they use caps with too low a voltage rating(saves money) which causes them to fail in a year or two---the standby runs7/24 and the heat dries out the caps and they fail.3. Trouble shooting consists of the above and then at some point you have tobuy and try a board to see if it fixes it or not.4. Safety first--no TV set is worth getting injured or even killed over.3_31_2012_2_58_31_pm.jpg

When I disconnected my Headphones

Usually there is a nut on the back that hold it in place. If you can solider replace the jack. There are three contacts on the jack, one is ground, one is audio and the other is the speaker. If you know your way around tyou can jump the audio and speaker wire together and sound that way.

LG LE5300 TV will not turn on

Unplug it for about an hour to let it reset itself first, if it still does not owrk, then you need to start looking at the power supply module first to see if it has any blown fuse, bad caps with domed tops, etc.

My LG led has had several problems, it started out

This problems are a very tipical of the coded pixels on the LCD screen panel passes through the board that call the T-CON decoder board to causing this problems.Vertical colors lines display on the LCD screen panel happen by itself.Yes.The T-CON decodering board it is dying and shorting out. This T-CON decodering board sit in the middle at the botton of the LCD screen panel.Replacing this T-CON decodering board will solved this problems,if does not the LCD screen panel itself it is shorting out, than the tv it is not worth fixing, because changing the whole LCD screen panel itself it is not practical and the cost will be the same as a new tv itself.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decodering board for the replacement.

When tweaking the motion settings low makes

Try checking the Hz settings on each channel you use. It may be that what you happen to put a setting on is only effective on that channel. Which means if you had to originally set it for 60 or 120hz on the hdmi channel, then you may have to do the same for your tv/satellite channel.

No sound in my lg led tv. it says sound in head

May not be a solution, but I would try plugging in a headset into the jack several times in and out. There may be a stuck mechanical part in the jack which informs the main board that there is something plugged in. While the head set is plugged in check if there is sound in the headset.
