seems like the blue polarizer is overheated. you would have to check out inside the optics to see if the light that enters the blue lcd is coming from the overheated glass plate just in front of it.

Try replacing input cable or recheck that it's seated properly. (loose/bad cable will produce similar symptoms)

You should firstly test the projector using some alternative input sources, and using different cables to establish that the pink/purple tinge is consistent across all inputs.

If it is, then your projector is in need of professional repair. You should be able to contact 3m here who can advise who their local repair agent is.

the polarizer on the blue lcd panel is fried due to excessive dust and heat. you may have to replace the whole optical engine.

The 3M Thermofax 45-FGA has a lamp reset switch located near the lamp holder. This switch needs to be pressed after changing the lamp to reset the lamp timer. If the lamp reset switch has been pressed and the light still does not come on, there may be a problem with the lamp holder, ballast, or power supply. It is recommended that you consult the device's user manual
