Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly and have charge make sure the usb device is properly inserted make sure you turn the mouse on depending on type/brand of mouse it will vary it could be a button or switch on top bottom or you might use the safe mode option

restart your computer repeatedly tapping the f8 key to enter safe mode while the screen is black once in safe mode where the only things working will be your keyboard and mouse allowing you to attempt to repair your computer then if your mouse works click start right click on my computer select properties device manager control scroll to mice and pointing devices you might see a yellow question/exclamation mark? ! or a red X right update driverhope this helps

Hi,Check for any USB Device connected to the Laptop like Printer/Pen drive.. if so, unplug it and try to power on.If that does not work, Remove the battery and try to power on using the power cable. If it works, your battery needs to be replaced.Regards,Suhail

Emachines em350 netbook has a built-in Webcam that located at the upper center of the screen. Its already program or install in the computer.

Yes, webcam is running on windows 7 also.

First, go to CONTROL PANEL then PROGRAMS click the UNINSTALL A PROGRAM then check if there are WEBCAM install then closed the folder.

You can also go to START then check if there are install program like WEBCAM.

I suggest to try this troubleshooting step. Remove the battery & power cable (AC Adaptor) then hold the power button for 8 secs. Return both devices in their respective places and turn the laptop on. If it doesn't, contact e machines for your laptop repair. Most likely the cause of this is the power supply inside of your laptop that was not worked.

As this netbook is new and just out of the box, I suggest you return it to the supplier for repairs or a replacement under warranty.
If you attempt to repair it you could void your warranty.
