My Kodak Easyshare M575 digital

If unused for any length of time, rechargeable batteries lose their ability to retain a charge. Try it with a brand new, fully-charged battery. FWIW, I recharge all my camera and flashgun batteries monthly.

After formatting a 32GB SDHC card, it says the card is unusable. I thought this camera supported that type/size card, am I wrong?

Memory card size and type for cameras and video cameras It should support the card type and size you purchased. Try re-formatting it on your PC, then inserting it into your camera again, this should resolve the issue. If not, you may have a faulty card. Make sure you buy a name brand, not a no name, cheap card, you get what you pay for!

My camera wont work unless it is plugged i even thouh its fully charged

Sill I would check the quality of your batteries. If you have a multimeter, you can do it yourself. My Kodak KLIC-5001 batteries, I bought in 2005 are still working. Three months ago I charged them the last time and the now still give more than 4,0 Volt. The print on the batteries is 3,7 volt. So if your battery is only just under 3,7 volt, but I think it will be more than one volt below, after they just have been charged, the are no good at all. If you don't have a multimeter, ask the people you know if someone has one. Also check is everything in de camera is clean and shiny and no debris is in the battery compartment. Check this with a magnifying glass, because the smallest spec of dust cab be a culprit when right on one of the contacts.

My kodak easysharem575 wont work unless it is pluggedin even thouh i charged it

Still my guess is your battery is dead. There must be a reason you never get any guaranty on a battery. I do have two Kodak batteries KLIC-5001 from 2005. Both working as if they were new. But I also had to trow away (chemical waste) lots of NiMH rechargeable batteries, before they were one year old. From a very good brand. They never survived more than 25 charge cycles. It could be, the contacts of your battery or the contacts in the battery holder of your camera are dirty or oxidised. Make sure the contacts are clean and shiny. Don't clean with a sharp tool. Just a dry cloth. I once found a little paper in the battery compartment, that disabled my camera for quite a while.

I accidently deleted pictures from Kodak EasyShare M575 Camera how can I recover the pictures

If you haven't done anything to the card since you deleted them, then you have a chance. Do a Google search for "data recovery software" and select a program for your computer and operating system. Take the card out of the camera and put it into a card reader connected to your computer, then run the program.

How do i fix a cracked screen on a kodak easyshare

This is one of those bad luck unfortunate solutions where I had our daughter do the same thing to our Sony. So I found out then that there was better to replace than try to have fixed. Even laptops if under warranty and you spill water into the keyboard the factory will not honor the warranty. So to make this story short I replaced the camera with a Sony Cyber-Shot 12.1 Megapixels. Also has High Definition Video 720P. Wish I had better news but our daughter cannot get the camera now and I keep hidden and inside a padded case! These cameras are like crystal and very easy to break and more expensive to repair. Thanks, Sea Breeze
