All, just figured something out. I had the evil beeping problem as well. I decided to play around and see if I could fix it. I unplugged the iFit adapter from the main control board and when I plugged it back in and tested it, IT WORKS AGAIN! NO MORE BEEPING!

I have the same unit. First, remove the hood. Then, the motor has an adjustment screw on the belt side of the motor. Loosen the nut a little, adjust the motor up or down to make the belt as tight as you can by hand, then re-tighten the nut. This always fixes mine.

Nordictrack motor will not run when start button is pushed.

My wife and I have a brand new Nordictrack A2550. Straight out of the box after assembly the motor that moves the treadmill belt will not run when the start button is pushed. The control console emits several short beeps but the treadmill stays still. The incline/decline buttons raise and lower okay and the control console appears to working. Any suggestion?

Likely the cover of one of the motor brushes popped off. Unplug the machine before you pop it back in place, then try it again.

If that doesn't work, most likely it's the motor control board, or possibly the console, or finally just a loose connection behind the console.

But most likely, it's the motor brush cover. I've been seeing that alot with this model.

knocking noise

I've got a new Nordic Track Treadmill, and anytime we go over 4.5mph, it starts knocking, like a loose screw or something. I checked it over, and I can't find any loose screws. Almost like the attachment between the digital screen and hand supports to the actual track is not together the way it should be. I have never assembled or disassembled my treadmill as we loaded it onto our truck as is from the store. Any advice?

Unplug unit open motor shroud , then replug unit , start the unit up then place tip on to the a 6" length flat screw driver tip on the front roller shaft put your ear on the insulated end and you should be able locate the knocking noise also check the motor and rear roller you insert tip where th adjustment is made. I believe that the front foller is causing your problem. Go to iconfitness.com go to customer service then replacement parts you will find your M# and pricing

The best way is to detach the two upright posts that hold up the console from the frame. You will also have to unplug the wiring harness inside one of those uprights. Once you have done that, you can move the machine in just two pieces. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our Customer Service Department @ [email protected]

Right next to the power cord is a circuit breaker. Check it to be sure it has not tripped. If so, reset the breaker.
Check the outlet, be sure there is power.
If that checks out, remove the motor cover (unplug the machine from power first) and check the fuse on the controller board. Chances are if the fuse is blown, the controller might be defective. Replace the fuse and try the machine. If it blows again, the controller is defective..

I have a NordicTrack C2155. Incline not working. There is a schematic inside. There are red, white, & black wires from the circuit board to the incline motor. Unplug the treadmill and have a licensed electrician construct a flying lead cord with a male spade on neutral and female spade plug on hot. Connect neutral to white and hot to where either red or black were connected. Plug in to see if the motor runs. Careful to remove power when the incline reaches its limit and reverse direction. If the motor runs in both directions, the motor is good. Follow the black two conductor wire to the circuit board and unplug from board. Check continuity across this switch. Run motor and this should toggle off and on. If all this checks out then the problem must be with the circuit board. On my treadmill, the schematic says that +5v should supply the sensor, but I only get +3.3v, which is TTL level. The drive motor sensor supply is +5v. The incline motor doesn't even show a sign of trying to run. Either the output transistor is burnt out or the low voltage caused an error so that it does not try to run the motor. Either way, I'm quite certain that a new controller board will remedy the problem.
